For a few seconds, she couldn't bring herself to move, but when she finally did, even her knees trembled as they barely kept her standing, preventing her from becoming a puddle on the floor as she moved to stand beside Cain, who continued to sit on the tub. His gaze finally shifted to look at her, yet it almost felt like he wasn't looking at her as he began to speak again.
"I set my last assistant on fire. He stole a bottle of ink for his sponsor, who was obsessed with me, and I set him on fire along with the room!"
