Violet had just shot through the double doors of Cain's room, when she immediately lowered her head in respect, hurriedly shutting the door behind her. 'Just because he gave me permission not to kneel doesn't mean I shouldn't bow as much as I can!' she thought as she moved forward after looking around and noting the fact that Cain was lying on the bed.
But it was at that moment that she also noticed the loud growls that filled the room and seemed to be emanating from Cain who laid on the bed. His back was drenched and the only sight she could see was his muscled naked human back unlike the inhuman growls that came out of his mouth.
"Lo-lord Cain!" Violet stuttered in palpable fear as the groans only seemed to increase with a violent undertone that made her hesitent to move forward and find out what and why he was making such a sound. Suddenly she remembered the vial in her hand, realizing that she might actually have brought the medicine a bit late.
Slowly, she began to move closer to him while talking and apologizing at the same time. "I'm sorry! I should have brought it earlier but I-I couldn't!" realizing that nothing could could come from reporting the high ranking person who had caused her to break the first bottle. She would simply get the both of them in trouble which was the last thing she needed especially since she was prepared to forever pretend like she hadnever gone snooping in Ravon's office.
"The vial is with me!" she repeated herself only stopping when she stood right beside the huge bed waiting for him to look up at her as she continued to speak especially when the groans and growls refused to stop and only increased in intensity. "If you take it! I'm sure you'll feel better!" prepared to do exactly what Ravon had told her to do the second the vial was out of her hands, refusing to stay in the room any longer than that.
Violet had just breathed a sigh of relief when she finally saw Cain move his back and lift his head from under the heavy duvet, moving closeer with her hands stretched out with the vial in it when she momentarily froze. Her eyes widenening in utter horror when what she saw instead of Cain's complete and human head was that of a beast. A huge beastly animal with black fur and red eyes staring right at her.
The rest of his body was still very much human but that was the last thing she cared about as she felt her heart beating in her throat threatening to jump right out. For the first few seconds Violet found it impossible to move as she watched Cain open his mouth to reveal long sets of teeth that would have no problems disecting her bones from her ligaments.
"God!" she gasped, never having believed but calling on him regardless. "Oh my god!" she gasped again, her legs being the first to recover as she slowly backed away, the vial having fallen to the bed and Violet too far gone to care about picking it up.
"Graaaaaaa!!" Unleashing a loud growl that sent vibrations to the ground she stood on as Violet found herself falling on her butt the next second, sscrambling back on all fours with her gaze on the door.
'If I can make it there! I'll be safe!" scrambling to her feet and prepared to make a final dash for it, the only one she would get when she watched Cain's body move scrambling awkwardly to the floor, unable to balance the huge head of the beast on his still human body.
'Angels Above! If you give me a chance to escape I swear to never come back!' she swore, on the verge of tears by how weak her bosy felt as she stood in front of the beast who seemed unwilling to let her pass as it fiercely growled at her with red-hate filled eyes. Without wasting another second, Violet dived on the bed scrambling past the long furniture to the other side of it. But by the time she had gotten there, the beast had been there a second before her.
Worse, Cain's body seemed to be transforming with every moment that passed into that of a real beast. The sound of his bones breaking echoed through the room in a way that made her stomach churn. There was no blood but Violet could hear the heavy sounds of pain the beast made everytime it happened. Again, Violet couldn't care less. Her entire focus was on getting the hell out of the room as quickly as she could before she got eaten.
"Anyone above! Please help me!"she mumbled out loud even as she scrambled across the bed again trying to flee through the other side only to find the beast waiting for her. Out of frustration, Violet opened her mouth and screamed at the top of her lungs, as loud as she possibly could. "HELP! SOMEONE HELP!"
"THERE'S A BEAST HERE!" She hollared only to hear the beast growl even louder in a way that completely covered whatever she had been saying, and more Violet's screams seemed to have pissed it off as it suddenly shot forward. His hind legs the only thing that was yet to become a beast.
Violet screamed trying to scramble towards the bed but not before the beast stomped on her, hovering over her while she laid on the floor with nowhere else to scramble to. Tears streaming down her face, her eyes snapping close in fright as she felt the warm breath of the beast against skin of her neck. Instinctively, she raised both hands to push it away, but she had just done that when she felt a sharp stinging pain in her arm.
"AArgh!" she screamed in pain, snapping her eyes open to see that Cain, the beast had not only fully transitioned but had also bitten into her arm. Even more shocked when instead of digging in and tearing her arm apart and chomping on it, the beast released her now bloodied arm.
