"The foresight scroll is my power. It will be with you till your last breath. This is the help that I had promised."
The priestess told Iwan thinking that he would be bowing to her in gratitude and looking up to her with awe in his eyes.
But, nothing like that happened.
"Foresight scroll? What's that?"
Iwan said with a dumb look on his face.
"How dumb can you get. The foresight scroll is right in front of you. The thing you have been calling red screen all this time is my power."
The priestess stomped her foot as she walked forward like a raging bull.
As she reached Iwan, she touched one of the red screens and moved it towards her.
'Hah. This fool fell for it.'
Iwan was laughing loudly inside his mind as he looked at the angered priestess.
'Obviously, I knew that the red screen was the Scroll of Foresight.'
Iwan looked serious on the outside and brought his hand forward towards the edge of the screen that was left on his side.
"Will it pass through like before?"
Iwan mumbled, but he was shocked when he felt that his hand had touched something sturdy like an iron wall.
'Interesting!'
He touched the part where the words were written, and his expression changed.
'The outside is sturdy, and the plane of the screen is soft. More like a squishy jelly.'
Iwan was feeling the screen like an expert while also stealing glances at the peaks the priestess was carrying.
"So, is this the only thing you will be helping me with?"
Iwan said to the priestess with contempt in his eyes.
The dull expression in his eyes was shouting something the priestess could easily hear.
"A plane red screen is your help? Useless? Is that what you want to say about the Foresight Scroll?"
The priestess could see what Iwan wanted to say.
As her words came out, Iwan shook like a cat caught stealing the last piece of fish its owner was saving for dinner.
"I-I never said anything like that."
Iwan evaded the dark glaring eyes of the priestess by looking around the hall.
"You-"
The priestess tightened her fist as she tilted her head forward.
"Looks like they are getting along pretty well."
Flash said to Inas while enjoying the fiery trades between Iwan and the priestess.
"Just as I had predicted."
Inas laughed and looked at the priestess.
"Since the connection between you and my apostles had been made, it's time."
Hearing the voice of Inas, the priestess stopped arguing with Iwan and turned toward the two Gods.
"I will deal with you later. Hmph!"
"Yeah. Yeah."
Iwan smiled and also turned to Inas.
"I shall return to Hubral."
The priestess bowed to the two Gods and announced.
"Indeed. Even a short absence of yours will be enough to turn down Hubral."
Inas commented and waved his hand gently.
Her actions and how Inas reacted called for her departure from this vast hall.
"What? Why are you leaving? What about helping me?"
Iwan realized that the priestess was leaving and was slightly taken back.
'What the hell is Hubral? Wasn't she going to help me in saving the Worlds?'
Hearing the worry in Iwan's question, the priestess turned towards Iwan, and her eyes again curved.
"I have already shared my powers with you. Do you want me to look after you as well? What a joke."
The priestess said in a light tone.
Her words were like a dagger so cold that Iwan could feel his warm heart freezing.
'This woman.'
"Old Ha-"
"Take care."
The priestess vanished with a smile, leaving behind the red screen hanging in front of Iwan.
Iwan kicked the floor in anger.
Even before leaving, the millennial priestess had thrown an undodgeable blow at Iwan.
"Thank God."
Words that contradicted his actions came out of Iwan's mouth.
Seeing how Iwan was acting, the two Gods laughed at him.
The hall was once again filled with laughter.
"Ahem."
"Since the priestess has already given you independent control over the Foresight Scroll, let's move on to the main part."
Inas told Iwan while Flash was nodding at the side.
"Take a seat."
Inas said in a commanding tone, followed by Iwan picking up the only empty chair in the hall.
The two looked at each other and then grinned at the same time.
Looking at how he had failed in aggravating Inas, Iwan gently placed back his chair and sat on it.
"It's time to give you your weapon."
Inas said before raising his hand above his head.
"A weapoWWW~~~"
Gushing wind made its way towards his small hand.
Iwan could feel his body getting struck by the heavy wind as though something terrible was coming. He couldn't even complete his sentence as something flew from outside and made its way towards the hall.
A glowing red ball emitting an intense aura flew past Iwan and reached Inas before stopping above his hand.
"Tap!"
The red ball landed on his hand with a clapping sound.
The aura slowly faded along with its round shape.
Finally, the truth of the red ball was visible to Iwan.
"Toyoda Chan's KEY!!!"
Iwan sprang up from his chair as he instantly recognized the weapon's identity.
'There is no mistaking it. It's my key.'
Iwan murmured with an absent gaze that only focused on the key.
It was the same red key he had been holding since his sixth birthday.
The same key that he had used to open the hidden door of the Olympus, which was coincidentally carrying the same name as his truck's.
"Indeed. This key will be your weapon."
Inas carefully tossed the key to Iwan as though he was handling something important.
Iwan grabbed it with his right and looked at it once again.
( The Ultimate Weapon Has Been Acquired! )
"The Ultimate Weapon. Are you kidding me?"
Iwan shouted as he stared at the red screen that carried the info regarding the key in his hand.
The thing regarding the cat and the last piece of fried fish is real.
F my cat. It's always eyeing my food but I still <3 him.
Share some fishes with others
Only then you shall get them *ahem*
