Chapter 20 - It's Too Big for Me

Mumut called Mrs. Wati so that the woman wouldn't tell people where her mother was being treated. She didn't want to cause a stir around the neighborhood. Wati only agreed to her request because she understood that Mumut didn't like that kind of excitement. Then Mumut informed Randy about the arrival of friends from her office to the pavilion where her mother was being treated. Mumut also expressed her concern that there would be rumors at the office.

"Don't worry, they don't know that you're going to marry the boss," Randy replied, comforting her.

"Yes, indeed," Mumut smiled wryly. She heard Yeni and Arti talking about it, but they didn't realize that she had heard them. "They thought I sold myself to rich people."

Randy laughed.

"Anyway, please get ready at seven o'clock you. I'll pick you up then!"

"Yes, Sir!"

Ten minutes to seven, Randy was already there to pick her up. After saying goodbye to her mother, Mumut followed Randy's steps to a black sports car parked not far from the pavilion where her mother was being treated. Randy opened the passenger door at the back and told Mumut to get inside. When she got into the car, Mumut realized that Bian was sitting inside the car. Mumut awkwardly sat next to Bian, but she couldn't utter a single word as she felt that her mouth was locked.

Randy closed the door after Mumut got in. He moved forward and got behind the steering wheel. Randy started the car and then sped across the road. Their first stop was a very luxurious jewelry shop. Bian asked Mumut to choose a model for their wedding rings. Mumut was confused to see so many beautifully designed rings in front of her. A ring attracted her attention, but she thought it was too good for her. She couldn't estimate the ring's price, but it must be costly because of its beautiful design and the diamonds on top of the ring.

The jewelry shop attendant was getting impatient when she saw the couple in front of her were both silent, while Randy was just smiling as he watched them. Usually, when he went with Ristie, Bian didn't need to bother choosing, as Ristie would immediately choose some of the items she liked. Bian would pay for them once she had finished making her choice. But the woman in front of him now was Mumut, who had never even dreamed of entering this place.

"Which one do you want, Sis?" the attendant asked the beautiful girl in front of her again. Mumut was still confused.

"That's it!" Bian finally spoke up, he pointed to the ring that Mumut wanted.

"It's too big for me," said Mumut, which meant that it was too heavy, too good, and very expensive.

"Just try it on, Sis!" Said the attendant enthusiastically. She immediately took out the ring from the display counter and handed it to Mumut.

Mumut received the ring with trembling hands. Bian immediately grabbed it and put the ring on the girl's ring finger. Her cheeks blushed, which made her look even more beautiful and adorable.

"Wow, it's so beautiful!!" The attendant shouted with joy.

The ring fits beautifully on Mumut's long finger, making her look more charming, but she looked uncomfortable. She tried to remove the ring from her ring finger, as she felt the ring was too expensive for her.

Mumut tried some other lighter rings, but Bian always shook his head whenever Mumut asked for his approval. Finally, Bian chose the first ring for Mumut, and for himself, Bian chose a plain one.
