First day at Dawson's mansion (2)

Half an later, George came out from bathroom and saw her on the floor.

He asked her, "Why are you on the floor yet and you have not changed the dress. Don't you know it's very expensive dress."

When Mayra didn't reply, he said, "Don't start your melodrama here".

Then he scoffed and climb on the bed to have a good sleep.

Another fifteen minutes went, then Mayra wiped her tears and stand up.

She went into the dressing room to change her dress. But she saw that there are only George's clothes in the closet and not hers. She came out and asked him. At which he snapped at her and told her to shut up.

After so many years of suppression at her step-father's home, she became a docile girl and stay as quiet as she can. So she accepted George's anger and quickly started searching for her clothes. When she is searching for her clothes ,she saw her trolley bag was dropped in one corner of the room.

After seeing all this, her hopes are crashed and she dragged the bag into the changing room . Mayra opened the closet and saw in the closet George's suites are all arranged neatly. There is no space for her clothes. So she made space for her clothes and arranged her clothes in one corner of the closet.

About an hour, she finished her all work and come out. She saw George was sleeping soundly.

Mayra thought, "Today was her wedding night and George has already slept. And she can't be only participant on her wedding night. Did she?".

After thinking so much, her eyes started drooping.
