Soon after, Hazel came rushing in with a beautiful purple ball gown with golden patterns aligned beautifully in it's curves. Purple lotus flowers were arranged beautifully at the arms. The dress looked breathtakingly beautiful. Elaine gasped at the sight of the pretty dress

"His highness had ordered it for you" she explained

"It seems my dear husband is truly caring huh?!" She giggled and strode to the washroom.

Meanwhile....

Kevin is sitting in a dark and quiet study room, his eyes looked towards a shadow with coldness. His eyes looked void of any emotions as he glared at the man

"Tonight's plan must not be ruined, or else.." he threatened

"Don't worry Crown Prince, you can trust me with this" the man in the shadow said with an evil smirk

"You better....things have to go exactly as planned , the love I see in their eyes for one another is starting to blossom and I need to stop it as soon and as fast as I possibly could" he said gritting his teeth as he reached the end of his sentence

"Yes your highness " the shadow bowed and left the room.

Kevin got out much later and welcomed the guests, he searched for Elaine and Alexander through the crowd but didn't see either of them.

"Where is Alexander and Elaine?" He asked princess Victory who had been flirting with a general. He looked further and spotted Princess Victoria already dancing with a noble.

"They've not arrived yet brother...now stop bothering me, why do you even care" she complained and left him standing there with a sour look

"It doesn't matter if they are late, my plan must work at any cost tonight " he said to himself and went to take a seat at the Royal area right beside his father

Alexander and Elaine's arrival was announced as they graced the hall with their grand entrance. Kevin who turned to look at him felt his whole body freeze upon seeing Elaine. She gown hugged her body in the right places and her neck and shoulders were exposed to his hungry eyes but what caught his attention was a reddish hue mark on her shoulder, her hair tried to cover it up but he could still see it and it looked fresh. It was a kiss mark

'So that's why you are both late' Kevin thought while gritting his teeth in anger

An hour ago

Alexander had gotten dressed in his personal room and came out looking for Elaine. He stood stiff at the first glance at her, she looked breathtakingly beautiful, her hair was tied up into a bun with ornaments adorning it, her cheeks were flushed red, her beautiful purple eyes cast an enchanting spell on him, her lips were rosy pink and her purple gown made her eyes pop. She looked like a beautiful piece of art work.

"U-uh...hubby" she called gently feeling flushed, he had been staring at her for minutes and she didn't even noticed that she'd been holding her breath until he spoke

"You look so beautiful wife" he commented and took slow steps towards her. She couldn't help fumbling with her hands as she waited for what seemed like forever. Alexander finally reached her and cupped her cheeks lovingly, her cheeks felt hot as a result her blushes

"Um....thank you for the dress hubby, it really is beautiful" she said and smiled cutely

"Am starting to regret giving this dress to you wife" he suddenly said which made deep lines from on Elaine's forehead

"Why?" She whispered seriously

"Because, if anyone dares to look at you, my beautiful angel, I might end up Killing them" he said calmly but authoritatively to show he's serious about it. Elaine loved his possessiveness and that just caused something warm spread from her chest to the rest of her body. The feeling of belonging suddenly enveloped her, she wanted to be by his side just like this forever, she was doing all this for her father's sake, she's pretending to be a calm loving wife to betray Alexander. She had made up her mind last night about it, she wanted to complete her mission quickly and leave Alvania

"But, I think I know what to do, to make other eyes keep away from my wife" he said with a sexy smirk which made Elaine catch her breath. He licked his lips so slowly that Elaine had the sudden urge to reach out and suck on his tongue as though it was the most delicious thing in the world. Alexander grabbed her by the waist, pulling her extremely close to him, greedily drawing in her intoxicating scent.

"H-husband" she stuttered out as she felt her body become hotter

"We'll be late for the ball" she reminded him, he's eyes looked so sexy at that moment, making her buckle up and hold her breath. She felt him come closer and closer to her, his lips drew nearer and when they were about to touch her lips, she shut her eyes close, as if mentally preparing to savor his delicious kisses.

She waited for the kiss, but it didn't come, instead she felt something slick and warm on her neck. Her eyes jolted open at the contact, Alexander sucked on her skin while holding onto her. She clutched onto his hair wanting him more as if she was addicted to him. His tongue sent weird sensations and tingles from her neck down to her spine

"Hus-husband" she called breathlessly with clouded eyes and pulled him closer earning a grunt. The vibration of his grunt which he buried on her neck made her body tingle fiverishly

The he finally let go of her neck, he looked at her neck in satisfaction, a reddish spot was left where his mouth was. He ran his delicious tongue on her neck to lick off his saliva and that one slow slippery lick earned a moan from Elaine
