Alex knew all along she would act so innocent before his family, he's dealt with her before. He more than anyone knew what she was capable of, she might try to deceive his stupid family but that doesn't mean she could fool him. He was furious and didn't even know when he reached out for his hidden baby.
He had tried to be civil earlier, he tried not to scare his wife the way he just did now, but she was making him feel like a fool before everyone. She was making him sound stupid, he hated that. He hated people that played the mind game with him, a game he's the master at.
He shouldn't reduce himself to her level, he shouldn't be exchanging words with her, he should be shutting her mouth. He should see blood on the floor, heads rolling for killing one of his most dear family members. "Alex, you'd have to kill me first before touching her," Maria stated and Magaret joined her too.
"At least just tell us what she did, why do you want to kill her?" Margaret requested. Alex stared at both foolish women. For the first time in his life, he thought of them to be so stupid and he didn't regret his thought. It's so easy to fool and brainwash them cause the woman behind them did it with ease.
'She killed great-grandma, that's why she must die." He declared. He knew she would make a turn, that's the reason he announced a price on her head before chan, there really isn't any price on her head. If there was his men would have killed her at the gate. He announced that to confirm his suspicions with Chan, and he was right.
Like father, like daughter it seems.
"I found her kerchief in the dead woman's arms," Alex added. "I did no such thing," Beverly said.
" I just said I did no such thing, I would never kill grandma, Alex. A kerchief can't prove anything. Besides, it's the same kerchief I have great grandma the last time I was there." She challenged further.
"This kerchief will not have your scent if it's stayed that long." Alex retorted. Hazel see how hard he was trying to stay calm just cause she asked him to. "It's funny how you still know my scent even if you now have a wife and children."
"You should be jealous Hazel, your husband still remembers his ex-girlfriend's scent isn't that ironical...?" She said proudly staring at the woman in a corner.

Of course, I was jealous, I had no idea Beverly was my biggest insecurity until now. It felt like all the I love you Alex said for years were mere words.
They looked like two love birds fighting.
I didn't know a day would come when I would see her once again talking to Alex, she's slowly finding her way back into the family and it's working for her. She can only lie before Alex's face cause his family supports her.
This is one of the times when I and Alex becomes one of the most hated people in the family. Our presence felt like it wasn't needed, we were like a huge plaque in the family and all I wanted at this point was to go back home away from all of these. It's funny how they would choose to listen to the words of a murderer over a family member. How easy is it to deceive these people, but then there was no solid evidence of Beverly being the murderer.
