We all sat in the private jet not saying a word to each other as I stared out the window. I know I said it's disgusting seeing mum and Dad kissing and hugging each other, but I prefer that to them fighting. I couldn't just wrap my fingers around why they suddenly have to fight.
I should be looking up to them on how to have the perfect marraige, not see them fighting. Our flight to New York was long and boring that had me sleeping four hours, and most times filling my stomach with food. They ask for that alot and I just have to eat still watching my weight.
We arrived at the jet terminal and all got into the limo waiting for us. "I'm sorry". I heard dad say calmly but mum didn't respond to him. She ignored him completely, and I just couldn't help but chuckle. They were so cute. But my thoughts diverted quickly to Alex again.
I was in NYC again, and NYC is like his city, but I don't think I'd see him much. I might not even see him at all. He's not the kind of person you'd see anytime you want, his movement were limited and only goes to important places. I somehow wanted to know how he's doing, if he's okay or not. I sighed.
Father had said we were visiting his family members and I wondered what they looked like, hoping they were not grandma Wilson. She might be a sweet soul but when she decides to frustrate you, she takes it as her hobby.
It was wired how my life changed in no time, all thanks to Alex and Beverly. I might have never seen my Dad if they didn't do what they did, who knows what Dad would have done to me if I didn't meet my real Father.
Before going back to London again, I'd have to check up on Carie and know how she's doing. It seems she's the only friend or genuine friend I've ever had. Yes there's sage, but our friendship fell apart just like lovers do. I hope to see her too.
We arrived at an estate, just close to the Wilson's farm, I expected it, as we were now sworn enemies with the Wilson's. I really don't know and don't care what make both families hate each other but that hate is definitely not applicable to me.
Our car stopped at the entrance of the mansion and we stepped out. The mansion before is was large and beautiful. "Welcom back Master!" "Welcome back Madam's!" The butler and his maids welcomed us in when we got to the entrance of the mansion.
It Seems the Huxley's, my family, are more proud than the Wilson's. Now I know why they're sworn enemies, cause they're very much alike. We stepped into the mansion, with the maids carrying my bags up the grand stairs.
"Take my princess to her room to rest, I'll be in mine with my wife if you need me."
"That's not necessary!" A voice came from the stairs. "If it isn't my Long... Lost... Prodigal son, you knew I'd always accept you no matter where you go to, that's why you keep running away hmm." She smiled walking down the grand stairs so gracefully.
She looked a little bit younger than grandma, and totally looks like father. "Mother, this is......!" "No need for your explanation, I already know who they are. It's so surprising i have a beautiful granddaughter!" She stood right before me wrinking of pride as she gazed down at my baby bump.
"You didn't tell me my granddaughter was pregnant David, and how sure are you that these people are your family?" She suddenly said. "I believe I don't look like a fool not to know who my daughter and wife are". "You had a wonderful woman to get married to and you threw that away for these?"
"Mother! You and I know that girl should be the same age as my daughter." "At least she's not a whore who gets pregnant for any random man, bringing shame to the name of our family. These is the reason I told you not to have a child with a whore." She said firmly.
Grandma was worst than grandma, how could she call me a whore. "We just got back from a very long flight and the best you could do right now is let us rest." Dad said calmly as he took mum up the stairs. "Daniel take my daughter to her room." Dad walked away, it seems like he didn't have the time to argue with grandma.
"Please come this way miss." I followed the butler up the stairs as we headed for my room. I really didn't know why Life has to be so unfair to me by making me meet people who are really rude. I got into my room and sat on the king size bed, It felt so soft and kept calling my name to lie on it which I did.
The raps on my door woke me up from my long sleep which had me Wonder how long I've slept here. "Good evening madam, dinner's in an hour we're here to get you ready." A maid walked in. I guess I was right, the Huxley's were no different from the Wilson's.
Maybe this is one of the reason Dad doesn't like coming back home. He's totally just like Alex, yet he hates him. "I'll do the dinner preparations my self, I'll call if I need your help." "Yes ma'am." She bowed and left.
Arriving at the dinning room which held mother, Father, grandma and a man I knew nothing about, I sat down for dinner. "Good evening everyone." I greeted for them to respond as I noticed grandma's haze on me from time to time. It was wierd but I tried not to over think things.
"Forgive my manners earlier my dears, I was just so upset with David that i had vented the anger on you both forgetting you're my family too." She started surprising everyone at the table.
"Though David always told me he has a daughter, I always doubted him, and it was so unbelievable seeing that she actually exist!" She continued.
"We're having ball party in celebration of your return. I want the entire New York City to know that I have a grandchild." She declared.
I myself couldn't believe what was happening, at first she called us whores and now she's celebrating my return?.......
