Chapter 213 The Truth 4

  I pushed the door to the study room open as I stepped in. I wanted to confirm what I just heard from Mr David, who was he to me? How can a man I know nothing about appear from no where to be my helper not wanting anything in return?"

   Staring at the pair of ice blue eyes staring back at me lazily I found myself asking the most pressing question in my head. "Who are you?" I really wanted to know what I've gotten myself into. I wanted to know if I've just ran from hell to the bottomless pit or the lake of fire.

    I've been through alot mentally and I don't think I could take any surprising news anymore. With all these countless thoughts coming through my head all at once, I felt dizzy and almost stumbled but I fought to keep myself sane.

    "Hazel your not feeling good, maybe we could talk about this tomorrow!" David walked up to me as he helped me sit on the couch in the study room. A glass of water was passed down by Roman and I gulped everything down into my system feeling a little better. "No!" I suddenly said as if realizing myself. "No?"

"Yes no. I want to know the truth today, I don't want anything shifted to tomorrow. Please just tell me, who are you really? Why did you decide to help me without a thing in return?" I knew what I heard and I heard it correctly.

   David let out a sigh as he stared at me. Arranging my hair with his hands, he parted his lips but hesitated a little as if scared something might happen. His action got me even more nervous, what could it be about that seems heavy in his own mouth?

    He left me and walked to his table brought out two paper slip from his drawer and he got back to me. "This is who I am to you Hazel, please don't hate me after this!" He pleaded genuinely as he handed the files to me. I got anxious taking a glance at the file, before curiousity took the best of me and I had to just read it.

     "Tell me what you were not given that you've grown up to be a heartless person?" Amelia said sternly to the girl who was crying before them. Oliver himself has ordered for the arrest of Maya, no one knows what he would do to her as Alex was not around to stop his father.

While berverly confessed, Oliver overheard their conversation and decided to take action these time. This is not the first time Maya had tried to hurt Carie, but this would be the last and he would make sure she pays for her action.

    The Balowe's are praying and hoping that he does nothing to the girl. Amelia was happy when both Avery and Carie had an amnesia it was a sign her daughters were safe for now, but who would believe her eldest daughter would be an asshole to hurt her sister.

    "Don't blame me for anything, you and father are the cost of everything....!" 

   *Slap*

      "How dare you say such?" "How dare I speak the truth? Tell me when I had a normal life like every normal growing kid?" "He always told me my purpose in life was getting married into a rich and wealthy family and that's what I'm doing!" She pointed at her father. 

   "All my life you made me see men as my priority, you told me personally father to always eliminate all the possible threats and your daughter turned to be a threat to me so I had to eliminate her!" She cleaned the tears from her eyes.

   "You talk about family mother? Yet the one you sent away from Alex's life is your niece, your sisters child!" "Oh don't blame me now, you know I did all those things for you!" 

   "Then you should understand I did what I did for the sake of this family!" Berverly walked away.
