Chapter 3

"Welcome everyone ",my Parents entered followed by my husbands family ,"Thank you  daughter ",just as they were about to get in my mom pulled me to the side"WHAT are do you call this that you're wearing?!"."I.....I...I...." i just couldn't form a single word out of my mouth I was afraid of my mom "Haven't you embarrased ne enough in life,you are just a disgrace to the family",  My heart shattered into thousands of pieces I just didn't know what to say or do at that moment I thought my mom would be happy to see me after along time.

She left me to stand on my own and went to the living room where the rest of the family."Little woman you can do this grab a hold of yourself nothing can stand in your way", "Ha ha ha funny you can't even stand up for yourself to your husband or even your mom",my subconscious mocking me even to me that was very odd.

I joined the rest of the family as I was entering the room with cups of tea and some muffins my so called husband entered the room ,the temperature decided to escalate in the room I felt as if the sun was scotching me he held me from behind and kissed me on the cheek I had to plaster one of the biggest fake smile I've ever had.

The day went on we discussed some of the family issues,stories of the past and many things.After dinner as I  was  watching dishes with the mothers Zweli's mom was the one doing all the talking my mom and I were adding some comments there and there,"My daughter in law when are you and Zweli planning to have babies you know that you not getting any younger and my husband and I can't wait to have our grandchildren running around the house","Ummmmm we just decided to put that on hold since Zweli's business has started doing very well so we just don't want anything getting on the way".
