Everly and Ania emerged from Everly's room, both looking stunning. Everly wore a short, tight dress with her hair flowing down in loose waves, while Ania sported a long dress with her hair pulled back into a sleek ponytail.
Ania looked at Everly from head to toe and couldn't help but admire her beauty. "You look fabulous, darling. My brother most certainly scored!"
Everly chuckled. "Thanks. And you look dazzling."
They shared a laugh before making their way out of the front door. "Can you drive?" Ania inquired.
Everly chuckled and nodded. "Yeah I can, but i think you should drive."
"Alright then, I'll drive. Come on," Ania said confidently as she headed to the driver's seat. Everly followed, taking her place in the front seat beside Ania. The car engine roared to life, and as the gate swung open, they drove out onto the road.
The pack house gate swung open as Sergei maneuvered the car inside, with Ivan seated in the back. After parking the car, Ivan stepped out and headed towards the Grand council, with Sergei following closely beside him. Along the way, they heard noises coming from behind the mansion, prompting Ivan to investigate with Sergei in tow.
"Leave me alone," a young boy pleaded, surrounded by three others who were taunting him. "You're pathetic," one of the boys jeered, mocking him. Tears welled up in the bullied boy's eyes as the hurtful words continued. "My parents were right, you Betas really are useless. You should all be cast out," another boy added.
Ivan's voice boomed from behind them, causing the boys to freeze in fear. They watched as Ivan approached, with the bullied Beta still trembling in fear. "What do you all think you're doing?!"
"I asked you all a question, didn't I? What are you doing?" Ivan demanded, his gaze piercing through them.
"We're all just playing around, sir. We're all friends here," one of the boys stammered, attempting to cover up their actions.
"Lie to me again, and you will find out the consequences," Ivan threatened, his tone stern. "You think you can bully him because you're an Alpha and he's a Beta?"
One of the boys insisted, fear evident in his voice. "No, sir, it's not like that."
"Shut up!" Ivan's voice thundered, causing the boys to tremble. "Now listen to me. If I ever see anyone bullying a Beta here again, I will use them as an example to show the others the consequences of such actions. Understood!?"
"Yes, sir!" the boys chorused in unison, their voices filled with fear.
"And as for your parents teaching you those absurd things about Betas, I'll have a word with them too," Ivan added, his expression stern.
"Get out of my sight," he commanded, and the boys quickly scattered, leaving the bullied Beta standing alone. Ivan stopped him before he could leave.
"Hey, little one," Ivan called out gently. The boy turned to face him, his expression was still filled with fear. "Y-yes sir?" he replied, his voice trembling.
"There's no need to be afraid. Come here," Ivan said softly. The boy cautiously approached him.
"What's your name?" Ivan asked, crouching down to his level.
"Lucas, sir," the boy answered quietly.
"You're a strong kid, Lucas. Don't let those idiots get to you, alright?" Ivan reassured him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Yes, sir." Lucas nodded, his fear starting to ease.
"Now run along," Ivan said with a smile, watching as Lucas hurried off. _____
Ania parked the car, and they both entered the boutique. "Check this place out!" Everly's was filled with excitement. With how the boutique looked, a simple shirt wouod cost a least a thousand rubles.
"Astonishing, isn't it?" Ania smirked. "This is by far my favorite place for shopping," she added as they browsed through the various outfits.
She looked around for a moment before picking up a short dress and holding it up. "I think this would look great on you, Everly,"
She took the dress from her and looked the price tag first and her mouth widened "Four thousand rubles for a dress!? Damn!" Everly remarked, taking the dress from Ania. "I'm going to go try it," she said, heading into the dressing room.
Ania settled into one of the chairs, waiting for Everly.
Everly emerged from the dressing room in a short, black dress that hugged her curves and ended just above her knees. Her hair cascaded down in loose waves, framing her face with effortless elegance. "How do I look?"
"Wow," Ania breathed, momentarily speechless.
Everly raised a brow. "Is something wrong?"
"No, not in the slightest bit. You look… breathtaking, Everly," Ania replied, a small blush appearing on her face. "Goodness gracious!" she exclaimed, continuing to admire Everly.
She couldn't help but chuckle at Ania's reaction and turned to look at herself in the mirror. "Thanks, Ania."
"Indeed," Ania agreed and got up from the chair. "I'll go try this one on," she said as she disappeared into the dressing room.
After a few minutes, she came out of the dressing room adorned in sleek leather pants, paired with a neatly tucked top. A stylish jacket casually draped over her shoulder completed the ensemble, while her hair was swept to one side. She looked at herself in the mirror "It's giving mafia boss!"
After checking out more outfits, Ania decided to browse the heels. "Alright, darling, I'll go check out the heels. I'll be over there if you need me."
Everly nodded and continued to peruse the clothes until she spotted a top. "Oh, my fucking god! No way!" She squealed in excitement and hurried towards where the top hung. "Limited edition, Sherlys!"
As she reached out to grab the fabric, her hand brushed against another person's hand. "Huh?" Looking up, her eyes met a lady glaring down at her.
It was Clorinde. She suddenly realized that it was Everly, and her expression changed to one of disgust. "What do you think you're doing?" she asked, both their hands still on the cloth.
Everly cleared her throat, trying to sound as polite as possible. "Um, I was just about to take this,"
She scoffed and pulled the cloth slightly. "Well, get your filthy hands off of it. I saw it first, so it's mine,"
Everly started to sound irritated at the way Clorinde spoke to her. "Excuse me? So what if you saw it first? I touched it first, so it's mine,"
"Do you have any idea who you're speaking to, you peasant!?" Clorinde yelled. "Get your hands off the cloth!"
Rolling her eyes, Everly snapped back, "This isn't the 80s or something, Lady. Get over yourself. Like I said, I touched it first, it's mine, so YOU get your hands off." She grabbed Clorinde's hand and pulled it away from the cloth.
Clorinde gasped. "How dare you touch me with your filthy hands?" she immediately raised her hand and slapped Everly on the cheek.
Everly touched her cheek, her eyes widening as she tried to process what had just happened. "You bitch... You just slapped me," she frowned before grabbing Clorinde by the collar. "You're going to find out what happens when you mess with Everly!"
