Greenhouse

After walking around, Binta returned to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Luliyah decided to spend some time and take walk in the iris garden in her new home.

Earlier she could only catch a glimpse at the flower garden from the car, but it turned out that the closer view was much more beautiful than she had imagined. The flower garden was so big and there was a greenhouse in the middle of it. When she entered the greenhouse, she couldn't believe her eyes. The greenhouse more beautiful than the iris garden in front.

Various kinds of flowers with different colors boomed there. A white swing chair wrapped in vines made the place feel like it came from a fairy tale. This place would become her favorite place in the house or her hiding place; Luliyah thought.

As she was circling the greenhouse and watching every plant in it, one of the servants who was quite young approached her, "Madame, dinner is ready."

She was so lost in thought that she didn't notice the sky was getting dark. She thanked the servant and instructed that she'll be at the dining table soon.

Luliyah took a deep breath and prepared herself because she would return to the house and meet Kelvin again.

'Luliyah, you can get through all this.' She thought to herself.

Then her foot took a step, leaving the place like a fairy tale and returning to reality.

When Luliyah stepped into the dining room, Kelvin was already sitting on the chair, right at the end of the large table. A wide variety of delicacies was already served on the table. Luliyah immediately sat on the chair right next to Kelvin's.

"Are you done walking around?" Kelvin asked

Luliyah didn't think the man would start a conversation with her, "Yes, Your house is very beautiful." She added.

Kelvin didn't say anything. He just nodded and stretched out his hand forward, indicating for Luliyah to eat. They ate in silence. There was no atmosphere of harmony and love like a newly married couple in the room. There was only silence and an awkward feeling that made Luliyah find it difficult to swallow her food.

After eating, Kelvin returned to his office. Luliyah decided to go to her room and rest.

When she entered the bathroom in the main room, she realized that the bathroom was filled with various new women's beauty products. There was also several pairs of expensive looking women's pajamas in the closet. She touched one of the pajamas and felt the material was very soft in her hand and it will definitely be the same on her body. It seemed that Kelvin had already told his servants to prepare all of this for her.

The warm water seemed to make the fatigue she felt evaporate. She scrubbed her whole body and got ready to sleep.

After she finished, she returned to the main room and found Kelvin in the room. Luliyah stopped walking when she saw Kelvin's face. The man sat on a chair staring at the view of the lake from the bedroom's window. His shirt was not neat as before. His top two buttons was opened, exposing his chest a little. Luliyah seemed to lose her ability to speak and her gaze was fixed on the man who has become her husband.

Hearing the bathroom door open, Kelvin immediately turned his head. He saw Luliyah who just came out of the bathroom in her new pajamas. Her hair was slightly wet with water droplets, making her look seductive. Her face was plain without makeup, making her look fresher. While her cheeks was slightly flushed from the hot water.

Kelvin immediately got up and approached Luliyah. He could perceive the fragrance of flower-scented soap from her body when he slightly bowed his head towards the woman. They stood facing each other for a bit, before Kelvin passed her and entered the bathroom.

After the bathroom door closed, Luliyah was able to breath again. It felt like her heart was beating very fast while her legs was stiff and couldn't move. Her face flushed red when she remembered Kelvin standing close to her.
