"Nine, how's it going?" James sat beside Maria after she had taken the rehab test intended for all agents coming from a dangerous op.
"Nothing's working. I can't remember a thing about that guy in particular." Maria admitted openly since it was James.
"Oh I see. It's that tough huh?" James said. " The doctor said it was selective memory loss since you've only forgotten one person when you a took on your memories."
"Is that even a thing?" Maria asked.
"I don't know. The doctors had medical terms for your condition. So, maybe?"
"But their methods to restore it aren't working. It has been almost two months already." Her voice laced with annoyance as she bent forward from her seat and leaned her head with her hands.
James smiled at her which didn't escape from her attention.
"I'm glad you still find my misery fascinating." she said in sarcasm.
