Chapter 107: Returned Magical Girl (8) (New)

'Something is wrong with her' Everly thought laying on her bed with her comfy pajamas. She was staring at Rachel who was asleep on her fuzzy carpet. She had given five Star Gems away in the past three months.

Star Gem User have been making themselves known again. But, Only in Paris. As this trouble is only happening here.

Since the other Gems users have found a way to purify those transformed by the black diamonds. Rachel has seen less reason to transform, no, sometimes she outright refuses.

Sometimes she wants to ask, but, when she does it feels like there is a mental block. Rachel knows when she is trying to ask, and just gives her this look saying to back off. She could only be frustrated at this.

When she woke back up, she was on her a rooftop. It was daylight, a young familiar back was facing her.

"Paris is a lot different then Japan." Sai the girl as she turned around. "Evie, how have you been. I haven't seen you in a long time." The main Heroine of the Series Mitsui Rie.

Everly just stared at her in plain shock, some things made sense and others didn't. This feelings was a despair fragment but it was stronger. Everly then looked down not too far from the Mitsui was an older gentleman who seemed to be passed out.

There was crystal like dust in front of him. It was a destroyed Star Gem.

"Not going to answer?" Mitsui asked.

Everly looked to her side she didn't have her draw book. She already knew she could not speak.

"Can't Speak. So, you not only lost your legs but also your voice." Mitsui giggled. "hmm, you know everyone else is also here" The girl spread out her hands and large purple crystal formed and showed images. Of the former members of the star gems fighting the new ones.

She was so distracted by the sight that she didn't see Mitsui come closed to her with a despair fragment.

"Evie" Mitsui brought it closer and closer to her, Everly could barely catch her breath as the alluring call started to consume her. Sending her into a loop from the past. "You mess it don't, it was all you ever loved in this world wasn't. You can have that again."

When she sang when she danced. It was all she ever wanted and what her life amounted to. The very things that made her feel fulfilled. The realization that she can no longer have that just continued to play over and over.

Rachel floated in the air while watching, her expression looked solemn but their was a hint of sadness.

Mitsui couldn't help but smile.

A Despair Fragment was all consuming, it draws you in, shows you the happiest moments. Your Fulfilled Dreams, if makes you think another reality is real. Before it Abruptly takes it all away, and makes you feel that pain over and over again.

Until you fall.

Suddenly the New Generations of Gems Users Appeared, making Mitsui surprised as the older ones came.

Everly was silent as she stared at the sky, the despair fragment had seemed to have overtaken her. The former main cast of the magical girl's series was talking to the new generations and commenting on how weak they are.

None, was paying attention to her. The thing is that Everly never let the despair fragment ruin her clarity. Fusing with it let her understand something she didn't see before.

She stood in front of Rachel with a sad teary face. "You have long known, what you had to do." She said softly.

Rachel bit her lip and turned her face.

"I also know what I have to do." She looked at Rachel sadly. "So please…."

"Elfin" Rachel whispered.
