[It seems he has learned from his mistakes. He's covering up the gamma radiation using some unknown means]

"Hello~ Are you done talking to yourself?" My thoughts were interrupted by the self-proclaimed billionaire, playboy, philanthropist superhero in a blue T-shirt.

He waved his hands a couple of times to get my attention before saying.

'What's his problem?'

"I know you think you're enough to handle extraterrestrial invasions without us, but it doesn't hurt to play as a team." Captain America spoke before I could express my annoyance.

"As much as I don't like Tony, I know that this matter is bigger than my grudge, so let's try to work together shall we?" He extended his hand out to me.

"..Huh…I don't remember warranting such a grudge?" Tony replied in a sarcastic manner with his arms crossed.

"But captain's right for the most part. Kid, I'll admit it, you're strong, strong enough to probably stop the calamity we're about to face in a few hours. But this isn't just about fending off the invaders, it's about protecting the people."

"And the more people we have on our side, the more lives we could save." Natasha spoke after coming in with a chip in her hands.

"….How'd you get that?" Although he took it, his eyes were wide as it could get.

"Clint said that Loki is trying to bring his army to earth, for that he needed the tesseract."

A scoff almost broke out of me before I reigned it in.

"That's impossible. The tesseract is not Aladdin's Lamp that you could just wish for it to happen. You need to open a portal, he'd could've stolen one from shield but that one is destroyed. It'll take him years to make one form scratch."

"My bad… please continue." I said, ignoring the gaze a certain redhead gave me.

"So he'll need to open a portal, the question is, where? He won't open it in a crowded place so the streets are out. He'll need an open space to common his entire army, but also needs to be close to the city."

"The ocean?" I thought out loud but dismissed it almost immediately. It'll be unlikely to travel to the coast with a huge army on his back. It'll slow him down tremendously, considering he doesn't know much about earth's geography.

And so with his moves and motives predicted to a certain degree, we started preparing for a fight that will definitely be recorded in history.

Not a full blown WAR!

This was not an army you can acquire in a few years! I looked up in horror at the portal. The mothership was crawling with uncountable soldiers.

No…these weren't soldiers. They are creatures trained to fight using the mind stone. The sea serpents found in planets near the Andromeda galaxy were equipped with suits to help them fly.

Although their skin had dried off due to lack of moisture, their size compensated for their lost strengths.

And seeing those gigantic serpents…no…leviathans flowing out of the portal with hundreds of soldiers towing on was enough to even break my composure.

'I'll run out of power before ending them all.'

I was strong

No. I 'am' strong.

But that doesn't mean I'm unkillable.

If I get drowned in that swarm I'll die.

My suit, drones, ships….none of them have enough power to fend off the entire Chitauri army that has been cybernetically enhanced.

"I'm going in, Thor, charge up before lighting the entrance." Tony spoke trough the comms before blasting in.

The nanobots spread around my body before forming an intricate hexagonal mesh.

[The suit is booted up]

I didn't reply and flew up.

The sound barrier broke as I ascended, leaving behind a trail of smoke.

I maneuvered around the lightning shower from Thor's hammer and used the flying thing to propel myself faster than before.

A deafening explosion occurred as I crashed into the head of a leviathan and drilled through its body, leaving behind it's burnt innards.

"KRRRRRAAAAAAAAA!" The beast gave a last shrill cry before falling down, along with the soldiers clinging on.

From the corner I saw a mass of soldiers coming in hot with their gliders.

"Fuck off!" I activated the sound cannon and spoke at the top of my lungs, creating hefty vibrations, speeding through them.

They couldn't even get a shot at me before exploding from the inside. Some of their hearts were still beating but their suffering was none of my concern.

"Graaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" I heard Hulks roar from building, before moving away to dodge an alien's carcass.

"Hulk, stop the leviathans, I'll handle the small guys." I got a nod in return before he jumped ahead to intercept one.

*Ttuututututututututu*

Sounds of blasters rang out as my ships reached the portal.

"We need to close that portal, Veritas figure out a way."

[The tesseract is powering that portal directly, but it's surrounded by a force field using the same energy. To take the tesseract, we need something equally powerful.]

"Will the scepter work?"

[Yes]

"Captain, I might've found a way." I spoke through the comms.

"At this moment…I'll take any gamble. So give it to me Andrew."

"The portal can be closed but for that to happen, we need the scepter."

"On it." Another voice came out form the comms and I saw Ironman fly off towards Loki.

'Let's hope we make it in time.'

[Sir, there is a problem]

"… What now?"

[The government has decided to detonate a nuclear bomb on the city]

"…What the fuck!?"
