Expectation

Zhang Dongmei still felt sick, so she went to the bedroom to rest without rejecting her husband's words. After helping his wife lie down on the bed, Li Chenze went to the kitchen and picked up a jar of preserved lemons given by Lu Jueyu.

He puts two slices of lemon and a spoonful of wild honey into a bamboo cup, then pours hot water and stirs until the honey dissolves. Then, he returned to the bedroom with the cup in hand.

When he walked into the bedroom, he saw his wife leaning against the wall with a pale face. He walked over, sat by the bed, and said, "Wife, drink some water."

Zhang Dongmei saw the lemon slices in the cup and took a sip. Feeling her nausea lessen, she drank more water. The sour taste of lemon is not much, and combined with honey, it tastes delicious. 

After she drank the water, she said, "Husband, I'm fine."

"Wife, let's go to the hospital for a checkup when you feel better," Li Chenze said.
