Luna did not know how it works since she did not see the first teams do it as the place the stones were located was hidden among the audience's views. The Advanced Mages responsible for the event did not also explain this.
However, she remembered Elenor saying something about the middle stages that would place the students on a random spot.
They didn't reach the middle stages so Elenor did not know this. Apparently, the Fleeting Teams that failed to enter the middle stage rounds/ second round were again battled against each other for the final rankings of the lower-tier seniors.
