Chapter 4 : Calm Before the Storm

"You're a boxer !" my father shouted in shock.

" Actually I wrestle I don't box" I said akwardly

" Will you shut up! A whole princess ... don't you have any shame" my father asked.

"Dad , what do you mean by that_" I asked starting to get furious.

"Are you talking back to me now" my father asked while rising from his seat.

"Dad calm down and listen to what she has to say" Onyx said

"Stay out of it onyx" my mom said

"Everyone else should leave now" my father said. After everyone left the throne room my father walked up to me and said

"I don't care about how you feel about this whole celebration, you are going to attend it whether you like it or not or else you'll regret being my daughter. Now leave my sight" .

I walked out of the room and stumbled on Olivia . She smirked then said

"Sometimes I feel bad for you.... you're just too pathetic, always seeking attention but you never get any..... "

" Just shut that hole you call a mouth"I said cutting her off her words

" Just who do you think you are to talk to me in that manner"I continued

" If you've forgotten, I'm your elder sister and I have the right to correct you when you're wrong" she replied with a smug look

" Ohhhhhh please cut the crap, no one is here to watch you being nice, that phase of our lives ended so stop it" I said angrily and walked out.

There was a time Olivia and I used to be very close but she suddenly changed towards me and our relationship broke. If not for big bro I would have been a victim to her schemes.

I got to my quarters and the maids started to get me dressed up for the ball. Although reluctantly I gave in ,I didn't have a choice after all.

Time flew by and then it was time for the ball. I had an unsettling feeling within me but I couldn't point out why. I didn't have time to dwell on it because my name was announced. As walked down the stairs there was a lot of curios eyes on me , I felt seriously uncomfortable. Immediately I got to the last stair my father took my hands and led me to the throne and gave me a seat.

Then he got everyone's attention and started speaking on how I came to being . He made up a story about how I have social anxiety and they couldn't introduce to the kingdom.

When he was halfway through his speech, I stopped listening cause I couldn't continue listening to his lies.

After the speech, I was crowned as the second princess of kingdom z. The music started and my dad took my first dance and thereafter my brother. After dancing with my brother i tried to return to my seat but my dad called me over. When I got to him i gave a slight bow to him and the man with him. He introduced the man to me as his friend.

I was introduced to a lot of people before being sent back to my seat but that was enough for me. As I looked at the people dancing before me I had a feeling that this was the calm before a big storm.

Thirty minutes later the party was rounding up when a commotion was heard outside before anyone could react people dressed in black clothes burst into the ballroom.
