The gathering has already begun at 7 p.m., and it's already an hour after seven, but Ethel is still leisurely browsing the shop near the restaurant. She plans to appear at the gathering when everyone has already done with their greetings and catching up.
She even purposefully ignored her friend's texts and phone calls, only sending her a message an hour before that she was on her way.
In fact, she is still contemplating whether she will still go or not.
Sigh
Sigh
Two sets of heavy sighs were heard inside the shop. It's a stationary shop that has a few customers, which makes them easy to look at each other.
Ethel blinked her eyes after making eye contact with the person who let out the same heavy sigh as her.
"C-can't find the right materials?"
Ethel awkwardly asked because she was caught looking at the guy.
The guy just quietly nods his head and moves away from Ethel, making Ethel feel like she's the only weird person.
