Christopher said this with his bright wide smile. While confessing, not only does Christopher's smile brighten the maze-like garden, but Christopher himself shines as if he is surrounded by rays of sunshine.
Ginalou pulled her hand away from Christopher, attempting to shield her eyes from being blinded by the excessive brightness of his aura.
"You're too bright! You hurt my eyes!" Ginalou honestly commented, which Christopher found funny. Christopher chuckled for a moment before jumping toward Ginalou, giving her a back hug.
"You're not rejecting me?"
Ginalou paused for a moment but then answered, "I-I am not, but stop clinging to me!"
She no longer hates Christopher, but she still feels awkward around him.
Also, she didn't disagree with engagement, as it was not too long ago that she decided to be engaged in exchange for the truth of the world, but now she's somewhat adding another reason to her reason.
