Trapped Within the Sanctuary

A figure suddenly swooped down, flying past both of them. There was a flash of light as the cage was sliced in half and the chains that tied the fairy were cut off as well. Xuan Yin looked with widened eyes as she watched the white figure grab the fairy and fly off. 

"Is that...Ming Yue?" 

There was utter shock on her face as Ming Yue flew up at the falling debris. Swinging her sword, she cut apart the stone and dirt, paving a path for her to escape. 

Seeing as her friend escaped, Xuan Yin also took the chance to run. However, the others weren't so pleased by the development. 

"You bitch! Get back here with that fairy!"

Yao Lu immediately gave chase, flying up after her. He waved his axe wildly, sending off several flying slashes. The clown makeup only made his furious face scarier, focusing on his downturned brows and clenched jaw. 

Out of everyone, he was the most enraged.
