Linton asked as he just turned towards Raven and hearing that, Raven just sighed in exhaustion.

Who were Aunt Lucia and Uncle Jim?

Well only one if Mano's most closet relatives

Lucia was her father's junior sister who was a witch while her husband Jim was a human who married her despite knowing of her true identity as a witch.

They were an happy couple until their First child and only daughter 'Mariam' was diagnosed with cancer at the age of seven.

She didn't live long as it was too severe and in the end died.

She died two years ago and although it was a painful thing that happened in the family, time had to pass them all by.

They all had to live on and Lucia trued to mice on also but we won't say the same for Jim as it was still a little hard for him to let go of his dead daughter.

And then one day, on his way back from work he meets a girl who resembled his daughters in many ways that almost got if confused if it was really her or someone else.

And so his attachment towards her grew as he was more than happy to meet her everyday after school and on her way but looks like his little happiness have been taken away seeing the girl was now part of the kidnapped children.

"Her death is something that Uncle Jim can't forget so I understand why he still felt drawn to that little girl!"

Raven said as she leaned over the balcony railing with Linton beside her.

Hearing all she had to say, Linton understand what everything was about but there was still something he still found confusing.

"Well..then who is this Inspector Diego that Mano Talked about, seeing from her reaction and everyone else's, he doesn't seem to be someone liked very much!"

"Does he have any history with the family or something?" Linton questioned as Raven sighed slightly at his words.

"Well you could say the world hate but I won't say he completely hate our family. Years ago, he and Mano's mother were in a relationship!"

She said leaving Linton a little surprised.

"He was in Love with Mano's mother but after Mano's mother married Mano's father instead of him even with her knowing that he was a Mafia, he felt hate towards Mano's father!"

"He felt hurt seeing as she had chosen a criminal over him a police officer and so he continues to find ways to put Mano's father 'Vendrol' in prison but it ain't easy to catch a Mafia especially a witch!"

"And so his hatred Continues to grow even for Mano?" Linton asked as Raven nodded.

"Sigh! We need to do something to help Aunt Lucia!" said Raven as she stood straight.

"Something? Like what?" Linton questioned as just then, the cool voice of Nathan was heard from behind them.

"Something like finding out what really happened to those kids!"

The next morning came in really fast and unexpected to Linton, Mano didn't sleep in the room instead she worked at her study and slept there for glow whole night.

Coming down from the stairs was Linton as he yearned slightly, he still wasn't used to waking up so early.

But if he wanted to see Mano and the other family members before they left, he had to be up early.

Getting down he was a little surprised to see Mano who was seated on the breakfast table all dressed and ready for work with Lucy beside her showing her some files.

And present in her midst were Nathan, Raven and Aunt Melissa and they seemed to be enjoying their breakfast.

"Good morning everyone!" Linton greeted as he took his seat and upon seeing him, they all smiled, well except Mano.

"Morning Linton!" said Raven as she munched on her sandwich.

"you're up early today, what's the occasion?" Mano questioned as he went through the files given to her by Lucy.

Smiling slightly, Linton said, "Well I guess I couldn't stay the whole day without seeing you so I decided to wake up early and wave you goodbye when you leave for work. Tell me , I'm I a good hubby?"

Linton asked as she stared into Mano's red eyes, leaving her a little taken aback.

"Don't call yourself a good hubby until I call you that now. Listen, you being my husband won't be easy so I'm going to need you to be protected at all times even when I'm not there with you..so Lucy!"

Mano called out and hearing that, Lucy nodded as she then brought out a white looking gun.

And upon seeing it, Raven Gasped, "Wow it's pretty..is this one of your babies… better than that red one you hold with you all the time!"

Raven said as Linton laughed a little, taking hold of it…Linton said, "who's gonna teach me how it works?"

He asked as Mano looked up at Lucy but Lucy didn't have her normal expression on as she just stared at Linton in complete shock.

But then her expression changed back immediately but Mano knew that something was wrong.

"Don't worry Brother in law, I'll teach you.. I'm an expert at it!" said Nathan as Raven snacked him in the head slightly.

"Well since we are done with this, I'll get going so see you all tonight… and Aunt Melissa, make sure they all get parking!"

Mano said before she turned around and left without even giving Linton a gaze.

"is she upset?" Linton questioned, he just couldn't understand this wife of his.
