DARKNESS

Darkness was all she saw after that. She found herself all curled up at the very end of a dark cell. The only source of light was a narrow beam which came from the top right corner. It was too narrow that she couldnt even see her shadow anywhere. Shea was devastated after learning the truth.

"How can he easily forget me?" Shea was confused as well as hurt beyond limit.

She somehow didnt want to believe what Tan told earlier or can it be true? Did he really not recognize her or can it be someone else? As much as she wanted to believe it was someone else, she couldnt do it. The mole under his lower lip and the mole at his nose tip were easily recognizable. It was him for sure.

Shea crawled to a corner and cried out hugging her knees which was now pulled up to her chest. She felt heavy after finding the person who always stayed in her heart. Till this day, not being able to find him, burdened her heart but now finding him did the same but more dense.

Suddenly she remembered about the dress which Mrs.Sung gave her. It belonged to Tan...which means it was her own dress. How could he act like that when she was right in front of him. Her mind started getting flooded with confused thoughts. In the dark, she felt more emotions than she have ever felt. Her body being vulnerable in many ways the vampires shouldnt feel.

Vampires are known to be the best in controlling their emotions but at the same time once they lose their control, they can never handle it. They have double the emotions that a human have in every perspective. This time, her weaker side showed up and all she could was to cry and scream.

"Open the fucking cell. Let me out." Shea screamed hitting the wall.

The guards were right outside the cell but they didnt even flinch. Shea kept on banging the wall and throwing tantrums until she heard foot steps. She didnt want to see Tan right at the moment as she cant bear to hear more hurtful words from him.

Shea have seen Tan hitting and hurting girls when he was in college but that had changed soon. He never used to hurt girls after that even if he was provoked. He had changed to a better human. What had made him change? Shea felt herself breaking down thinking more of it.

"Why did he disappear like that? To become a mafia?" Shea asked herself between the sobs.

Her hands clutching onto her brown hair and pulling it down. She was feeling wasted and disappointed in not listening to Mrs.Sung. The foot steps were getting closer and Shea swiftly wiped her tears away and got up on her feet walking to the bars. She held on to the cold metal bars and peeked out to see some shadows approaching her.

"Open the cell. I have to go out." She screamed.

"I already warned you...once you see his face, you cant go from here." The voice echoed in the hallway.

"I dont care, I have to go right now." Shea screamed knowing it was Brian.

"Why do you keep causing troubles? I am trying my best to protect you." Brian asked walking to the cell.

"I am here for what? For your so called boss to play with?" Shea asked while her voice cracked.

"I am here to explain that to you." Brian said asking the guard to open the cell.

Shea moved away but her mind was so full of thoughts to escape from there even if she had to do it the hardest way.

"Dont try to escape unless you want a bullet passing through your stupid brain." Brian warned her.

"I am telling with all my left patience, just let me go and you wont have to pay for all the troubles which I had to go through."

"He is going to be hard on you this way."

Shea thought it will be better if she could find out something about Tan from Brian. She watched as Brian walked in along with a couple of guards who doesnt seem to leave. She wanted to have a private chat with Brian and thats what she did.

'I want to talk to you in private." Shea said.

'Do I look like, I would approve whatever you ask?" Brian asked as he pulled a chair from the corner and sitting on it with crossed legs.

"This is important."

"Nothing is important than his words here." Brian pulled out a paper handing it over to Shea.

'What is it?"

She didnt receive any answer but instead a guard walked to her keeping a gun down her waist from the side. Shea couldnt believe that she have been acting this weak that a human dared to point a gun at her. Shea gritted her teeth trying to control the anger which was fuming inside her.

"Read it."He ordered while leaning back resting himself.

Shea read it out loud.

'To Shea

You are hereby contracted as my personal care taker and I have the total right to control you however I want. You will stay here forever or atleast till you are dead and will never try to escape. The only words that will fall from your mouth is 'Yes Master' and 'Its ready as you asked for.' You will keep no contact with outside world or cant have any visitors.

By Captain.'

Shea looked up at Brian with an unbelievable eyes. She felt like crushing the paper and burning it. The so called agreement looked as if she is his slave and a toy for sure.

"What the hell is this?" Shea asked.

"Sign it." Brian continued with closed eyes while a guard offered a pen to her.

"I am not signing it." Shea protested.

'I will count till five. Do it or stay here without signing this. Doesnt make any difference." Brian smirked.
