Chapter 84: Onwards...

Dressrosa, New World:-

The next Morning.

Luffy told everyone to wait for him. Then he walked up to Doflamingo's castle and spread his haki to find someone.

Soon he found the person he was searching for. He teleported near her.

Currently Luffy was in a dimly lit room, where a little girl was sleeping peacefully while holding her plushie.

He started walking near her carefully.

* Kid, why are so nervous? Is that little that dangerous? *

' Yes, she is. Her name is Sugar and her ability is to turn anyone into a puppet. Then everyone except her will forget about the said person. Don't you think, it's scary enough? '

* Hmm, then why don't just kill her like always you do with everyone!!!? *

' Although, i am a ruthless bastard. I won't hurt a child as long as it is absolutely necessary. '

Luffy first woke her up then knocked her unconscious to free all these puppets. Then he tied her hands and gagged her mouth.

He teleported back to Rebecca's house and told her to keep a watch on Sugar and not to touch her.

After all preparation was done Luffy along with Zoro, Yamato, Reiju and Hancock went to the castle. On the way Luffy smirked and nodded with satisfaction seeing the chaos.

Soon the Devil Dragons reached the castle.

Walking up to the drawbridge, he destroyed the front gate and brazenly barged into the castle.

Along the way many tried to stop them, but were dealt with easily by his crew. Soon he entered the throne room and found Doflamingo was sitting on the throne. Luffy had already sent everyone to take care of Doflamingo's subordinates. So only Luffy and Doflamingo was currently inside the room.

" Well well well, what do I owe the pleasure of your visit Dragon King? " Doflamingo taunted.

Luffy mocked back, " I was just in the neighbourhood thought I should stop by and say hi. "

The blond haired man frowned, not buying Luffy's words, " Do you take me for a fool? Answer me. Why are you here? "

Luffy sneered, " You wanna know why I'm actually here Doflamingo? I'm here to but an end to your reign. I'm here to free this country from your grasp. "

The ex-noble laughed, " And how do you suspect to do that? Hmmm? "

" Simple, i will just kill you right now. " Luffy said calmly.

" Did you became arrogant because your fame or what? " asked Doflamingo with veins bulging on his forehead.

" Then watch. " Said Luffy and raised his hand. He first coated his hand in haki, then the black coating started rupturing and finally a red glow came out it. " Alright, Mingo let me try this technique on you. I have never used it before. "

" What did y--" Luffy interrupted his cliche dialogues and teleported near him. Then he landed a devastating punch on his face.

He was flown to the floor by the impact. Not thinking for a second that it was over, Luffy waited for the fallen man.

Blood had splattered out of Doflamingo's wound but only for a brief second before the wound was sealed. Doflamingo then proceeded to get to his feet, with some struggle at first. The ex-noble then turned to face him and spoke, " You'll need to do much better then that to take down someone such as me. "

Doflamingo grinned madly, " Such is the case when you have a powerful Devil-Fruit. My fruit allows me to control string, so it was not hard at all to stitch up all the damaged tissue from the bullet wound. "

" And it is with my powers that you will meet your end! " Doflamingo yelled shooting tendrils of string towards Luffy making him jump back.

" Hmm, you are right. You are a perfect training dummy to use for now. I have yet to master the power of Gura Gura no Mi. " Luffy grinned at him.

The blond-haired man reached out with his hands to pull rocks off of the wall behind Luffy in hopes of hitting him with some debris. Luffy saw what Doflamingo was trying to do and just teleported away.

He landed away from the boulders and watched as each of them flew at Doflamingo. The Warlord only made one more motion with his hand and each boulder was thrown off to the side.

Then Luffy started playing with him with his new ability. After a while he felt satisfied as he finally grasped his new abilities.

" Alright mingo, playtime is over. " Luffy said and grabbed Doflamingo by his neck.

" Hakai..." said Luffy and and placed a white orb of energy on Doflamingo's chest.

** Boom...Pshhhkkk **

His chest burst open and the so called Powerful Devil Fruit couldn't saved him. This move was recently created by Luffy, it was his old move 'Cataclysmic Orb' with the power of Gura Gura no Mi.

Then he left the room to see the situation outside, while dragging Doflamingo's dead body.

When he arrived outside he saw Zoro, Yamato, Reiju and Hancock were also almost done. Seeing this the guards and hired help were now beginning to sweat bullets.

They knew what the man in-front of them did to their boss and were scared to find out what he might do to them so they all dropped their weapons and ceased their fighting.

" So you finally beat him, eh captain? " Zoro said walking up to Luffy.

Luffy just sat back against a boulder, " Yeah I guess I did. " He spoke calmly. Before any of the guards or hired help could get away, Rebecca had arrived in her battle armour along with some royal Loyalists.

" Quick all of you! Capture all of Doflamingo's men so that none get away! " She ordered.

Upon seeing Rebecca in her rather revealing armour the surrounding guards almost struck nose bleed, but he was quick to run up to her and wrap a cloak made by magic around her as a makeshift curtain so that no one would see her in such a revealing piece of clothing.

" R-Rebecca what are you doing here! I told you that no one should get in our way! " Luffy spoke out to her.

Rebecca smiled, " I know you wanted no one to come up here but from the noise coming from the castle along with all of Doflamingo's man running to the castle, we thought that you guys may need some help. "

" Thank you but it's unnecessary. My crew and I have already taken care of everything. " Luffy said.

Rebecca then made wide eyes, " Wait! You killed Doflamingo! " Seeing Luffy nodding she was petrified. " You..you " But Luffy interrupted her, " I don't like to leave any future troubles, so i killed him. "

" W-where is he!? " Rebecca scrambled as she looked in various directions for the tyrant.

Luffy smiled as he pointed to Doflamingo, unconscious on the ground, " He's right over there! " Seeing the dead Doflamingo she couldn't help but tear up. She hugged Luffy and started crying. Luffy just consoled her.

He then looked down at her, " What's wrong Rebecca? "

She looked up to face him once more with watery eyes and a smile, " Nothing! This is one of the happiest days of my life. No longer will the people of Dressrosa and my family have to live in fear of the tyrant Doflamingo. Now we can all be free and happy, just like you! "

He smiled, " Yes you can. "

After everything was taken care of there was a huge banquet like always. But Luffy never gets bored of these, because as a foodie he loved to enjoy all types of delicacies.

Luffy had also made a deal with the rightful king of Dressrosa, Riku Doldo lll, that Dressrosa become his territory.

The king had not been taken back at the young Dragon King's offer at all, in-fact he was quite pleased with it. The king saw this as a way to keep away unwanted pirates from his country. Of course Rebecca also had given Luffy his own reward.

Eventually the crew set off once again into the New World, their next destination, Zou then Whole Cake Island.
