"If I was an enemy of the pack, I would have let you die with Demon poisoning, would have let you know when you have poison, and I would not happen to save your alpha from the demons. I have done nothing but good to you, but how do you repay me by making me the bad guy." She continued to reprimand him. She cannot get why this old man still believes that she has something hidden. 

"Cyrene has the permission to go and check on her people, and there is nothing you can say will stop her," Darrell said when he realized that his father was not planning on giving up the argument anytime soon. 

And with that, the conversation was over, and silence fell back on the royal table. 

The rest of the hall as the pack had become of the argument that was going on at the royal table. 

The pack leader excused themselves to go back to their rooms, and so did everyone else.
