Going Ahead

Darrell gave a frustrated shake of the head and then turned to Skyler and stated, "I want to see how you do it!"

Skyler gave a satisfied nod and then walked up to the aiming spot while smiling.

When Cyrene was visibly stressed out, Holly came up to him with a reassuring smile and told him, "Do not worry, and everything will be alright!"

She was perplexed as to the source of the soldier's almost boundless self-assurance. Skyler began firing while remaining cool despite the fact that Darrell was looking at the rifle.

The second, smaller circle was hit by all three of the initial rounds. The man who was looking at Darrell now became even more irritated as he realized that he did not even see what it was that she was doing.

She pulled the weapon back out of her pocket and fired it once more, this time landing two more shots in the penultimate circle towards the center. The final shot landed in three more open circles.
