Flashback

The ground below the boy opened, and he went into the ground. 

The singing and the ululations stopped, and the eyes of the warlocks turned white, and they fell on their back and started to levitate and looked as if they had seizures. 

Then after some time, all this stopped, and there was pin-drop silence. 

They all stood up, and their leader called one of them forward. One of the women who seemed to be very confident stepped forward. 

The leader took the knife he had used to slice open the snake and cut her palm making her wince. 

She then held her palm for the others to see as it healed itself. Without warning, he slit her throat open, making the rest gasp in fear as they cowed away from him.

"If you believe them, you will survive, but if you do not, then you die. Your death and resurrection give you the full power of the Cyrene's. Who wants to be next?" the leader told them.
