Thomas drank greedily from the bags.

He then realized that he was drinking blood, and he threw what was left of the blood bags to the floor and started tugging on his hair as he paced in the room.

"What did you do to me?" he asked Melvyn.

"I made you like me, a vampire," Melvyn replied as he changed and let his vampire form show.

He had black eyes with red veins showing, and his sharp fangs were showing upon seeing this scrambled away far away from the vampire before him. He could not believe that before him stood what he thought was a myth.

Melvyn took a mirror from the bedside table and showed it to him.

The face that Thomas saw there, he could not believe that it was. He looked like the vampire before him.

"Why did you turn me? You made me a monster! How will my fellow soldiers react when they see me? What if I hurt one of my family members? What have you done to me?" Thomas complained, not believing that he was a vampire
