Conflicting Feelings

"What the hell is your problem? Why on earth would you kiss me? First, you are to make me feel guilty because of the decision I made. You need to know this is my body, and I can do with it what I want. Being my friend does not give the permission to go around making a decision for me." Cyrene angrily said as she wiped her mouth vigorously with the back of her hand.

She felt really disgusted with his action and left him on the floor writhing in pain. She went to join those that were giving first aid so as to occupy her mind.

Later that evening, when everything was in order, she called for a meeting.

"As you all know that we were attacked and we are trying to get everything normal and in order to do that we have to work with what we have now. So we will all work together without considering the type of duty we are given." Cyrene told the people.

"Where is our master?" one of the men in the group asked.

"My parent is being held captive by the alpha of the blood moon pack, but we are going to go there and get back our masters. And we are going to give a taste of their own medicine when we go. We will make them fill the pain we have felt." She started to explain and then sighed.

"Because of that, we are going to need to be training harder than we normally do. We are also going to train all the children in defense lessons because if they had been taught before, we would not have lost many of them in the battle. So from now onward, all of you that are eighteen years and above are going to be training as warriors, and all the kids will be receiving defense lessons from Noel and me here. I promise that I will not stop until everyone here has gotten their justice." Cyrene added, assuring everyone.

"When is this training to begin?" One of the ladies asked

"The training is going to begin tomorrow morning. Everyone is going to gather at the foot of the mountain in their sports clothes. We are going to go for a run up the mountains." The run is going to be for those eighteen and above, and we are going to set off at exactly six in the morning. No one is allowed to miss the run except those preparing breakfast and those who are in the morning shift at the wards." She instructed.

She then dismissed them so they could have their dinner.

She was left standing on the podium as she thought about how her parent was being tortured at her mate's dungeon.

Noel walked to her.

"When are you planning to tell them about the prophecy?" he asked her as he came and stood next to her.

"When I get my parents back, and everything has gone back to normal, this will cause only more chaos if I tell them now and mostly am praying I won't have to tell them." She answered him.

"They deserve to know they are also going to be affected. If you wait to get your parent back, then it will be too late to tell them." He tried to reason with her.

"If I tell them right now, they will not concentrate on saving their master, and the attention will be on the doom that is coming." She told him.

"What about the case of you being the mate of alpha Darrell?" he continued to ask.

"They are not going to know about that because it does not concern them and because you are not going to tell them about it do you understand?" she asked him threateningly.

"I am I pissing you off with the questions?" He asked her innocently. She just looked at him and shook her head, really fed up with his behavior.

"I think it's time we contact all the other clans for their help. It would be very dangerous to go there all alone with newly trained hunters. We need people how have been hunting for long, and since we have lost many of our own to the battle, it's high time we ask for their help." Cyrene said as she ignored the question that Noel had asked her previously.

"So, uncertainty you don't mind, I would like you to join me as we go make calls to the other clans." She told him as she walked off the amphitheater where the meeting with her clan was being held.
