Separating Mind and Emotions

The only one who reacted to the space ripples was Shiba, who had been on alert after feeling that something bad was about to happen.

Still, Shiba didn't move nor tried to say anything.

An instant later, a small passageway appeared, and a figure rushed towards where Shiba and Eini were.

The aura of that figure was that of an Essence God. It wasn't too strong or controlled, so it seemed to belong to a weak and recently ascended Essence God, still, and Essence God was an Essence God.

The figure killed Eini before someone could react, and Eini's soul dissipated.

However, not even in that situation did Shiba react. He just focused on the movements of his enemy. He wasn't feeling anything.

He felt as if someone was reminding him of separating his emotions when fighting. To not let his emotions clouding his mind when fighting because it would only lead to a worse end.

He didn't remember who told him so, but he felt that he truly trusted those words.
