Chapter 11

"What's the next place we should level up?" I asked Yumi.

"The Elven forest seems to be the way to go. I heard that most enemies there are around levels 40 to 50." Yumi informed me.

Since last night, I feel like I have gotten closer to Yumi and Sakura. It has also givin me hope to become stronger to protect my guild members.

"We should become stronger and level up out sub-classes. What is the highest level you can become?" I asked.

"I think the guidebook said level 100. By then you should have enough skill points to level up the certain sub-class you want to master in." Sakura explained.

"Maybe I should inprove on my speed for my stats. Then I can become a faster assassin." Yazoyo pondered.

"Yeah. That might be a good idea. since assassins use daggers." I agreed.

Suddenly everyone vanashed from my eyes. I didn't know what happened. The area around me suddenly looked different, and I was surrounded by different people. "What on earth?"

At that, a big banner appeared in the sky and it unfurled. On the banner said:

"Announcement!

We are informing you about the glitch that has happened these past few days. As a way to pass time, we have created a new event that can be seen in your 'notifications.'"

I then opened up my settings to see my notifications. Then I saw that I had a message. "Weekly Guild Wars!

Due to the glitch, we have made a little event to pass the time called the guild wars. We do not know how long this glitch will take. It could take weeks, months, or even years at most. So, these guild wars will happen weekly to show how strong your guild is. Depending on levels, we have created a new segment calld the Guild Level (Meaning guilds now have certain levels similar to characters showing how strong and powerful your guilds are). Guilds now have the option, depending how strong your guild is, to have a 'power boost.' This 'power boost' combines the skills of all your guild members together to create a strong force. Thank you very much, and have fun! (*≧з≦)b"

"Guild wars?" I mumbled to myself.

"Guilds? I'm not even part of a guild!" A person screamed from across my way.

"What's with this 'guild war' thing? We already know what happens when you duel! Why do we need to fight?" Another person cried.

He did bring out a good point. If we die, why are the developers having us battle? Unless they don't know about the whole "death" thing.

Anyways, I knew I needed to find my friends. I decided to search the area to look for them.

While running, I suddenly found Yazoyo. "Yazoyo!"

Yazoyo turned around and yelled out, "Leader!"

When I ran up to him, I stopped to take a breath.

"What's with this whole 'guild war' thing?" He asked.

"I don't even know." I answered truthfully.

"But didn't Eiji die because of our dual? What will happen if the guilds go against us? More people will end up dying." Yazoyo began to sweat.

I put my hand on his shoulder. "For now, let's not worry about it. We may be able to convince people not to battle. Let's just go find Sakura and Yumi for the meantime."

"Yeah." He nodded his head.

The both of us began searching for Yumi and Sakura. We finally found them near th banner.

"There you guys are." I said after meeting up them.

"This is great, don't you guys think? We can spare some time before we can leave this game." Yumi cheered.

I looked over at Sakura and saw how pale her face was. I knew exactly what she was thinking. Even Yazoyo thought the same thing.

"This isn't good Yumi." I began to explain. "Actually, when you battle against a person, you can end up killing them, and they won't be able to respawn."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"A friend of mine died in a duel and didn't respawn. He laid there on the ground lifeless, at the time." I told her.

"What?" Yumi began growing pale. "You...you can die in this game?"

I then slowly nodded my head.

"I...I am going to give birth. I can't die. I will end up losing my baby also." Yumi began to cry.

"I promise. I'll try my best to explain to everyone to not fight. I am sure they will all understand." I reassured Yumi.

"Thank you, Haruta." Yumi nodded her head.

I then made my way to the fountain in the middle of the area where the banner was hovering over. I stood on top of it and began to make an announcement.
