RAVEN
Seeing Adriano standing before me was a massive reassurance. With each breath, my chest heaved as relief flooded my body. He had been looking for me. I thought he had given up, but he hadn’t.
He stood before me when I had lost all hope renewing it within moments. Men groaned around me, and I weakly smirked up at him.
“Hey, I was going to do that.”
He scoffed and shook his head with his hands in his pockets. “To hell you were. C’mon.”
Laughing, he sauntered towards me to undo the ropes from around me. What was his plan? How was he going to get me out of here once he had freed me from the chair? There had to be tons of guys waiting for him to do what he had come to accomplish. There was no way Tony wouldn’t have some fail-safe in place to stop us. And I was afraid of what it could entail.
Ripping his shirt, Adriano added pressure to one of my wounds. “Hang on, I got you.”
