Almost Checking Out

Beep Beep Beep

"Shut your yapping" I groaned as the beeping sound continued

Sitting up and taking in my surroundings I noticed that I was still in the hospital

Pressing the nurse button I waited for a second and when no one came in I began tapping it about three thousand times

Who cares how aggravating it is maybe they should just let me go

After what felt like the one millionth push the same nurse came into my room wearing a tight smile

(I'm gonna be honest I have no idea how these hospital things work at all so bear with me)

"How are you feeling today Scar-let"the nurse stuttered my name

"Fine actually.....so can I umm go.. please"I asked showing as many of my pearly whites as possible not knowing if they were actually pearly

"No can do sweety you only have a day or two left here anyway as long as you show good signs" she smiled at me while checking my IV

Huffing I layed back only for her to tell me I had to take some more medicine

20minutes later

"I have been patient enough Ms.Brown if you don't open up right this instant I am going to shove this medicine so far down your throat you will not be In the hospital for bruised ribs and memory loss but In the surgery room getting a tube out your other end" she seethed out her face red with anger "now open your god damn mouth fuck the professionalism type crap" she yelled at me

Huffing in defeat I opened my mouth and took in the nasty substance but not before almost throwing it up

I looked up at the nurse who had an accomplished look on her face as she smirked down at me and I scowled up at her

"Now now no need to crinkle your face you will get wrinkles at a young age" she smiled only making me scowl more

"Sooo can I like get some food" I asked

"It will be up shortly hon in about an hour to be precise I forgot to tell you no food for an hour after you take the meds, unless you wants some jello" she shrugged

My thoughts were interrupted when a knock came at the door

"Nurse I brought her some..."
