Fredrick hardly let the car come to a halt before jumping out of it. He'd gotten rid of his suit, and was now down to just his shirt, and his tie hanging loosely around the unbuttoned collar.

"Be careful man, you don't want to injure yourself. That won't do Stacey any good."

Fredrick totally ignored his friend, and just kept at his pace. "Where's Mr. Brown?" he barked at one of the security guards that was just passing by.

"He's inside with the cops."

"The cops are here?" Fredrick was surprised. James and his father had stressed a thousand times over why they did not want to involve the authorities. James had to really be shaken up to have thrown caution to the wind like that.
