This was the moment that she forgot her own name. Still trying to remember, Cheryl lifted her left hand to shake his, when a cold warning whispered in her ear " DON'T". Startled she retracted her hand, burying it in her robe.
"It was nice seeing you, Jimmy. Have a nice night boys. "
Rushing with her food inside the house, she locked the all three bolted locks and rested her forehead on the door.
"I'm sick of this, I'm done Danny. I can't take this anymore..."
Every since her brother shot himself in front of her a year ago, he somehow got attached to her. It was funny how he was a ghost in her life, while she grew up, and remaind with her in death also.
Dante Forsythe Blossom was a wrecking ball for anyone who loved him. And everyone who met Danny, would fall in love with him. Cheryl grew up with him, until he went to highschool and started that damned band that made him a rock star. Sinner's for Pleasure was his damnation, his ending. He started using drugs, he forgot about his love for his baby sister, he forgot all about her. He became a ghost that she would only see on tv or hear about him from her mother. Until one day, a year ago when he called crying, and begged her to come to his apartment. He was talking gibberish, she couldn't understand a word he was saying, just that he was being followed and he needed to see her one last time. So Cheryl being her, and loving her brother more then anything, came rushing to him. She would never forget that day, how the moment she opened his apartment door, a rush of negative energy blast hit her.
She found him on the floor on his knees with a gun in his hand. Cheryl screamed at him, pleading to let the gun go and when Danny looked at her, the pain in his eyes broke her. His green eyes were red with tears, they were holding so much regret her legs buckled and she fell on her knees in front of him.
"Please, Danny...please don't leave me again"
"I'm sorry puddin'... Big Danny will make it all better, don't cry 'cause now I'm always going to take care of you." And before Cheryl could replay he shot himself in the head.
She couldn't remember how long she stayed in that position, on her knees with her brother's blood covering her face, with his body before her. All she could remember was that his head fell limp on her lap, and she was caressing his blond hair when her mother came like a hurricane through the door calling for her baby.
"NOOO!" Her mother's welling and desperate cries brought her back to reality.
She was watching Lucielle Bllosom crying her soul out with her dead son in arms when she first felt those chilling bony fingers on her shoulder and heard Danny's whisper in her ear.
"I'm never leaving you puddin' don't cry..."
