Training chapter 5

All of my squad members left me behind doing sit ups. I finished with my sit up and proceeded to look for some of my squad members. I walked into the forest at high alert, ready to attack any intruder but I doubt if they would make and attempt to invade our territory since that was a foolish idea. After several minutes of walking I got tired and decided to rest, so I settled down on the edge of a big rock, I thought about all that had happened in my life recently, my mum didn't know jubril and I had already broken up, I'm sure she must be planing my wedding ceremony with damien but of course I wasn't going to get married to him, after he used me to perform his dirty deeds. I was absent minded that I didn't notice someone approached me from behind. The person touched my shoulders slightly and that brought me back to reality. I jerked up and stared at the person. It was a young man maybe about my age and I recognized him, he was one of my squad members. I vividly remember seeing him sitting close to some other of my squad members. So he looked at me and said

"You shouldn't sit around doing nothing." He said and smirked looking at me in my odd position which was uncomfortable.

"Just got tired." I said and smiled a little

"I'm leo." He said and stretched his hand for a hand shake. I willingly accepted

"I'm victory styles." I said and looked at him. I stood up with his helping hand and proceeded to walk.

"So you are the girl everyone has being talking about." He said with a little smile. John was a charming guy with his cute smile, he was really handsome and had a well built structure.

"So everyone has being talking about me?"I said and gave him a questioning look.

"Well yeah, you are the girl that punched Damon right and also the only female in the attack group." He said and smiled again. To think of it yes I was the only girl in that group. Soldiers were grouped but you were the one to make the choice of what group you were to join. There was the medical group which includes doctors and nurses, then the rescue team and finally the attack group, that was my group the attack group. Her group launched attacks at the enemies while the rescue team rescued the injured. The rescue team and doctors were occupied with more females.

"Yes I am that girl." I said and thought of how had it was going to be.

"I like you... He said and smiled again which made him look incredible handsome. You are brave and have guts." I felt flattered and that made me blush. We talked about other stuff and other squads. He said our squad was lucky to have a commander like Mr javest because we didnt have to share a room and bathroom. Some squads shared rooms and bathroom's, that's when I realised how lucky I was. After several hours of parading it was finally breakfast time. After I was served I looked around and spotted Leo. I walked up to him to ask if I could join because it wasn't fun when you eat alone.

"Care if I joined?" He looked at me and smiled then signified me to sit. I sat and started eating. He introduced me to some of our squad members. They all seemed nice. We talked about why we talked about random stuff and I guess I made some few friends. After breakfast I head to my room to change into my training wear. We were informed that we were starting our training this afternoon. I was in the field with all of my squad members we were being instructed by commander javest. He talked about winning the war and showing the hidajs their place. The hidajs consist of different people fighting against america to rule the land.

"I'm talking to you all, are you ready!" Commander javest said while screaming with his manly and deep voice.

"Yes sir." We all said and saluted him. We had to run an obstacle course.

"This here is an obstacle course and the winner gets to be my personal assistant... He said with his serious face. Through the tyres, under the net, through the sinking mud and climb, using a rope." He said and placed a whistle between his lips, he blew the whistle and everyone started going through the obstacle. I was at first place when I passed the sinking mud. I thought I was going to win until Damon dragged me by holding on to my clothes behind so I fell and got injured. Leo saw what Damon did, then stopped to help me, I declined and decided I was going to get him back. So I increased my phase and ran as fast as I could, I caught up with him as I reached the long wooden board we were meant to climb. He was having trouble climbing cause he was impatient. He tried to stop me but Leo came to my rescue and pushed him on the ground. I climbed over and jumped down, running for the finishing end, when I reached the end I collapsed and my head started spinning before I blacked out.
