When silence filled her ears and she could see that he didn't know what to say, she just waved him away. "Aria… I-"
"Get out," she ordered, not bothered to hear his excuses or his sympathy. She didn't want any of it, no she wanted to be by herself and not around people that she didn't trust. "Please", she whispered, "OUT!" she yelled, her voice filled with pain and anger as the shadows spread and damaged the windows.
The candles blew out and the only thing that filled the room with light was the moon with the blue painted sky. But this wasn't earth so she couldn't even see the stars that way she could at least count them and calm down. When she heard the door close, she stepped on the ledge of the broken window.
She took in the cold air, her hair and dress being blown back as she turned and fell backward.
