Su Yu

Ye Residence...

Ye Heng walked into the living room, finding that the atmosphere in the house was quite lively. The light in his eyes lit up upon noticing that his younger sister, Ye Qing Xin was at home along with his nephew.

The baby would soon turn one year in a couple of months. These days, he was quite good at talking and entertaining the elders. Su Yu was able to win the hearts of the people around him with his cute look.

Each time Ye Qing Xin returned home with her son, his parents along with everyone else in the house seemed to have forgotten that they had a job to do.

Everyone wanted to play with the baby and watch his sweet and pure smile.

Ye Heng was one of them.

Looking at his nephew would melt his heart. 

"Uncle!" Su Yu waved his hand around the moment he saw his uncle walking over. His words and voice were unclear.

Suddenly, everyone's eyes were on Ye Heng. 

The little boy wriggled off his grandmother's embrace, wanting to get to his uncle's side. However, the moment he wanted to take a step, Su Yu fell on the thick carpet again.

Su Yu was still learning to walk. He could only take a few steps before he would fall again.

The elders encouraged Su Yu to stand up and try again.

The scene in front of him made Ye Heng sigh helplessly. He walked over and picked up the baby in his arms. Ye Heng buried his nose in the boy's neck and inhaled deeply. He liked the scent of the baby very much.

Once the baby was laughing from his kisses, Ye Heng finally let him go. He turned to his younger sister and asked, "When did you come?"

"Just now." Ye Qing Xin smiled. "It's Saturday. We were supposed to come home and accompany Mom and Dad."

Just in time, an Auntie came over to discuss with Mother Ye the menu for dinner. Mother Ye left the living room along with the other helpers, leaving the siblings and the baby alone.

Ye Heng swept his gaze around the living room and noticed that Ye Qing Xin's husband was not around. "What about Su Ming Yuan? He didn't come today?"

"Ah Yuan's quite busy with some work. He should be here before dinner." Ye Qing Xin walked over to her brother to take her son.

The baby wriggled to get out of his mother's embrace. His little mouth was babbling something incoherent. Once his mother passed him a baby's rusk, Su Yu finally sat still to nibble on his food.

Su Yu was at the stage where he liked to eat a lot of delicious food. Each time he had something delicious in hand, Su Yu would sit still and eat his food.

"I heard from Mom that you are going on a blind date tomorrow," Ye Qing Xin said.

Ye Heng almost choked on his breath upon hearing his younger sister's words. He wanted to hide from his younger sisters that he was going on a blind date. However, it seemed quite impossible.

Even though Ye Qing Xin did not hear it from their mother, her husband would definitely mention a few things.

Ye Heng knew that her sister's husband, Su Ming Yuan was quite resourceful, probably because he had a lot of friends.

The thought made Ye Heng pause.

He wondered if he should ask Su Ming Yuan to help find out more about Tang Shi Yi and A-Link Company. With Su Ming Yuan's help, it should not be difficult for him to investigate Tang Shi Yi.

But then, Ye Heng wondered if he should do something like this. 

If he wanted to know something about Tang Shi Yi, he should ask her face-to-face, right?

"Elder brother?"

Ye Qing Xin's voice snapped him out of his trance. They were talking about his blind date. How did he come to think about Tang Shi Yi?

It seemed that after their unexpected meeting at the hotel, Ye Heng was unable to stop thinking about Tang Shi Yi.

"Un." Ye Heng nodded. He took a seat beside Ye Qing Xin and played with Su Yu's soft hair. "Grandpa arranged for me to meet the granddaughter of his friend. I looked over her profile. She seemed like a nice girl."

Ye Qing Xin stared at her elder brother for a while before letting out a sigh. "Elder Brother, if you are not interested in dating anyone, you should talk about it with Grandpa."

A faint smile appeared on Ye Heng's face. "It's alright. I promised Grandpa that I would attend those blind dates."

Ye Qing Xin had a helpless look on her face. 

She remembered the day their paternal grandpa was pretending to be sick to blackmail Ye Heng into going on a few blind dates.

Later, their Grandpa began to regret pretending when he saw how worried Ye Heng was.

However, Ye Heng stubbornly said that he wanted to attend those blind dates so that their elders would stop worrying.

"I don't have time to meet anyone else because of my work," Ye Heng said. "Going on a few blind dates might help me to meet some people."

Watching his younger sister in a happy marriage sort of made him think about getting married and having children.

However, each time that he attended a blind date, Ye Heng was unable to get along with the women. There would always be something that made him feel that he was not suitable with the women that his elders had arranged for him to meet.

It seemed that getting married and having children was too far away from him.

Ye Qing Xin heaved another long sigh. She really could not understand what was going on in her elder brother's mind.

She looked at her son again and finally recalled something else. "Elder Brother."

"Hmm?"

Ye Qing Xin carried her son in her arms again. "Yu Yu is supposed to visit the hospital for his shot next week. Ah Yuan is quite busy and I don't think that he will be able to come. Elder Brother, can you accompany me and Yu Yu to the hospital?"
