Chapter 8

 That bastard, Viren was yelling from outside that I can't escape from him.

I started crying silently and also my mind was not working properly with fear.

I was praying to God to save me.

       Luckily I found the mobile in my sling bag. Instantly, I dialed Arvind anna so that he will help me as his office was near from here. But he was not picking my call. Again I dialed his number but he didn't attend my call.

I dialed Shreya and informed what happened. I started sobbing and my body was shivering with fear…..

"Stop crying, share the location I will come there. Once again call Arvind meanwhile I will reach " Shreya said.

Again, I dialed Arvind Anna.

This time he attended my call.

"Please come soon, I need your help" I cried.

" He is in the meeting, may I know who is this?" someone replied.

"I am Priya, can you inform him to come soon here" I pleaded him.

" This is Karthik. Don't worry" he said.

"where are you now? Why are you crying?" he asked?

" I came to meet one client as per appointment but he tried to ...." I cried even more as I can't explain what happened to me.

" Don't worry I will come now. Dont come out of that room and locked it properly" Karthik said.

I told the address of the company where I was present.

"Okay, don't cry. I will be there in 15 minutes. Be careful. Don't disconnect my call" he said.

"Hmmm…" I replied.

Still, I was holding the mobile in my hand. He broke the door of that cabin and entered inside.

He pulled me beneath the table holding my hair.

"whom did you call and informed?" he yelled on me.

" I am rich and have high influence in this society that even police don't file any complaint on me. Do you know that?" he smirked evilly.

"Please leave me. I don't tell anyone what happens here. Let me go" I requested.

"Just for only one night Miss. Priya. I also told the same thing, I don't let anyone know about it" he replied coming closer.

" I would prefer to die, but I don't fulfill your desire even in my dreams, you bastard" I shouted with a disgusting face.

"There is no escape from me now. If I want to have any girl on my bed. I will. So stop your drama now." He pulled my dupatta and threw it away.

He pulled me closer holding my wrist and his hands were coming dangerously close to my upper body.

I slapped him on his cheeks as I could not control my anger after listening to his words.

I don't know where I got such courage.

" How dare to slap me, you bitch. I was trying to handle you gently. But you....." he walked towards me

"Do you know, whom did you slapped? Mr. Viren Dixit, a business tycoon." he was fuming with anger.

I pushed him and ran out of that cabin.

He ran behind me and tried to catch me but his hands reached my top. And he tore the backside of my top.

I cried for my helpless situation.

"Please anyone help me" I cried loudly.

"No one will come to save you. I teach you a lesson for slapping me, you bitch." he dragged to his cabin.

I lost all my hopes that no one is there to save me. He pushed on the couch in his cabin and hovered on me like a wild animal and looked at me as he caught his prey.

" Don't wriggle, at least accept now and enjoy" he come closer where I can sense his breathing near to my neck.

"stop you bastard, how dare to touch her?" Karthik pulled back and punched on his nose.

I didn't believe my eyes to see Karthik here. My body was shivering in fear.

" Are you alright, Priya?" Karthik asked kneeling on the floor.

I threw my hands around his neck and cried holding him tightly.

"what might happened if Karthik didn't come at the right time.?" I was thinking in my mind.

"It's okay, everything will be fine. I am with you. No one will harm you. Don't cry" he patted my back.

But I could not control myself at that moment.

"shh… calm down, I am here with you. No one will harm you" he consoled me.

He loosens his grip on me and cupped my face. He wiped my tears and was about to stand holding me.

I widen my eyes in fear, looking at Mr.dixit. He was holding a metal vase in his right hand to attack Karthik.

"Karthik, look behind …" I shouted in fear and pushed him aside.

Mr. Dixit tried to attack Karthik but I got hurt on my right shoulder.

I hissed in pain as there was a small cut on my shoulder.

Karthik made me sit on the couch and kicked him so hard that I found bruises on his face clearly.

Karthik tied both hands behind his back with his tie.

" I will see both of your ends. Mark my words" he warned us even in the worst condition.

"Just shut your bloody mouth, be ready to go to prison as I already inform the police to come here" Karthik yelled at him.

"You are doing a big mistake. Don't try to put enmity with me" Mr. Dixit threaten while wriggling.

" Don't try to threaten me, do you whom I am? " Karthik punched on his face.

" I am Karthik Rajvamshi. I hope you heard my name. I will kill if you utter even a single word again." Karthik looked at him with bloodshed eyes.

My mind becomes numb with the incident and pain in the shoulder.

"Priya…" Karthik called me.

I could not see at his face as my condition was worst in tore clothes.

He came closer to me and covered with his blazer. Silent tears rolling down my cheeks.

He was about to speak with me, meanwhile, the police entered.

" Arrest this bastard.." Karthik said seriously to them.

" But sir….He is one of the well-known people in society." Police with hesitation.

"So what?..." Karthik said with an irritated tone.

" We need proper evidence sir.." the policeman said.

" I hope it is recorded in a surveillance camera, you can check it," Karthik said.

"Okay, sir" police agreed finally.

At last, they arrested Mr.Dixit.

" Come with me, we have to leave now. We have to go to the hospital first for your first aid…" Karthik extended his hand.

I was shivering very badly and not in a position to stand.

He helped me to stand and embrace me. I felt safe in his hug.

" No, I don't want to come to the hospital" I replied looking at the ground.

" why?" he asked in confusion.

" I can't give a reply if anyone asks about my condition" I sobbed.

"Okay then, first come with me." He said.

While we were getting down, Shreya ran towards me and hugged me.

" Are you alright?" she asked me.

I nodded my head.

"where is that bastard?" Shreya yelled.

" He was arrested, Don't worry" Karthik answered.

"Hello doctor, come to my apartment immediately" Karthik informed someone on his mobile.

" We are going to our apartment," he said looking at us.

" No, I will go to my hostel" I replied.

" I don't listen to any of your words now. See your condition now. Who will do first aid to your wound? Tell me?" he yelled.

" what happen Mr.karthik? Do she hurt?" Shreya asked worriedly.

"yes, shall we go to our apartment?" he asked.

" Okay, we are coming…" she replied.

"But Shreya..." I tried to speak but she cut off my words.

"Just shut your mouth for now. Do you how I was scared after I get a call from you? Do you know how I reached here" She shouted on me?

We started with Karthik in his car to his apartment.

" By the way, where is that idiot Arvind?" Shreya asked seriously.

" He was in a meeting. So I attended his call." Karthik replied.

At the time we reached his apartment, the doctor was waiting for us.

" Good evening sir" the doctor greeted.

"Hmmm…first come inside," he said.

"she was injured. Do first aid for her" Karthik instructed her.

" you both go to that room and wait," he told us showing the direction with his hand.

We both went inside. I hugged Shreya and cried holding her tightly.

" Please calm down" she consoled me.

" Hi, my name is Dr. Varshini." The doctor introduced herself.

" Hello madam" Shreya replied in low voice.

" Mr. Karthik explained everything. I don't ask anything which makes you uncomfortable" the doctor said.

She removed the blazer which was covering my body. She examined my wounds and did first aid.

" Nothing to worry Miss Priya. Just take two days' rest. Everything will be fine" she informed.

She gives pain killer injection and prescribed some medicine to take rest.

Karthik came inside the room.

" you both can stay here to this night. It's already late." Karthik said.

I don't have any clothes to change, I was thinking in my mind.

"I will bring your dress from the hostel," Shreya said understanding my face.

"I hold her hand to stop her. please Shreya doesn't go, stay with me." I requested.

"Change your top" Karthik handed over me his T-shirt.

" Sorry, I am staying all alone here. Please adjust till tomorrow morning" he said.

"I will prepare coffee for both of you." Karthik left the room.

As I have no other option, I took his T-shirt and went to the restroom to change.

When I was back from the restroom, I saw Arvind Anna was sitting in the hall.

" Are you alright Priya?" Anna asked me.

Shreya walked seriously towards Arvind Anna.
