Chapter-8

The day of the farewell came, emily was getting ready for it till stephen called her and said "hey, are you ready?".

"Yeah, just five more minutes"Emily replied then she wear her heels, she was wearing a silver dress, soft curled hair, a natural makeup look and was looking fabulous she get out off her building and stephen who was wearing a three piece in colour black, his hair were all set, his wearings was expensive saw Emily walking towards him looking like a shining star in the darkest night. Then Emily said" you look handsome".

Stephen said "And you look as gorgeous as ever".

Emily said" Thank you, so let's go now".

Stephen opened the car door for Emily and they arrived at the party together, everyone start looking at them as they look adorable and were holding hands. When bruce saw them he couldn't hold it anymore and started drinking. Emily didn't notice him as she was lost in stephen's eyes. They partied alot and there was not a moment where stephen and emily got apart from each other. Then when stephen was busy with his other friends, emily go towards the restroom where she met stessy then stessy said "Emily listen, bruce is waiting for you on the rooftop".

"But why?"Emily asked.

"I don't know but please check on him as he is already very drunk" stessy said.

"Okay, I am going... tell stephen that I am in restroom if he ask about me"Emily said. Stessy nodded then Emily goes at the rooftop where she saw bruce wearing a white shirt and his coat was on the ground. Betty was secretly watching them. The moment he saw emily he said "Oh my, cindrella you came".

"Yes, but what's all this , why did you call me here?" Emily asked.

"Cause, I wanted to steal you from that bastard even for some minutes" bruce said.

"Look you are drunk right now we will talk when you are in your senses" Emily said.

"I am in my senses" bruce screams then he came closed to Emily and hold her hand and said " I love you, emily and I can't help even if I try my best"he puts her hand on his chest "listen to my heart... it's all yours". Emily removed her hand and said "I don't love you, why aren't you understanding this... I love stephen and will do always".

"Don't say that I can make you love me...forcefully if I have to"bruce said and then he pulled Emily closure to him and tried to kiss her but Emily slapped him and said "you are awful" Then she leaves and Bruce falls down then betty ran towards bruce and hold him.bruce started crying and said "I love her I really do, what should I do now , how will I live without her?". Then betty consoled him and said "stop crying, you have to move on and look around there are people who loves you who wait for you...like me".

"But I only love Emily nobody can take her place..get off me". Bruce screamed and leaves the party.betty was in shock and heartbroken. She wanted to make Emily pay for it. She go back in the party but Emily was not there, she check in the restroom and emily was there washing her hands, Betty grabs Emily hand and took her outside then she slapped Emily on the face and said "you bratt, you ruined bruce life".

"What the hell, how can you slap me?" Emily said and pushed betty on the wall. Everybody was staring at them when stephen heard the noises he run towards the crowd he saw Emily and betty lying on the floor fighting with each other.then stephen holds Emily and then he asked betty "I told you to stay away from her then why the hell are you doing it?"

"Because she ruined bruce life, he isn't like before because of her"betty said.

"I didn't asked him to love me" Emily said.

"But you didn't stop him either so shut your mouth".Betty screamed.

"It's not my fault"Emily said.

"You will pay for it" Betty screamed.

"I will kill you, if you intefere again"Emily screamed.

"Then do it"betty said.

"Just wait"emily said.

"Enough betty you are making it worse, better stay out of this". Stephen said then he holds Emily's hand and took her in his car.

"What's the matter Emily? " Stephen asked her while holding hands.

"She is a psycho...she think I am the reason of all the bad" Emily said.

"I will talk to him" stephen said.

"No, there's no need of it , it will make things more worse".Emily said

"But I can't just see this"stephen said while removing his tie.

"Promise me you will not do anything, the school ends today so the problems also ends "Emily said while kissing stephen's hand. Stephen looked at her and said" I will do whatever you say".

Then he dropped Emily home by giving her a hug and kiss. Emily get back in her room and start writing about all that happened.
