Late Night Dip

After dinner, Siv walks her grandmother to her room and tells her about her discussion with the Chief of So. She is delighted to learn that they have her baking. 

"I did notice that you do not spend any time training, Siv." Thyra says as she sits on the armchair closest to her bed. She looks exhausted.

"I have been quite busy with traveling and everything going on."

"There are no excuses for your negligence, child." Siv stares at her for a moment. 

"I will resume my training in the morning."

"Both fighting and magic, right?"

"Yes, grandmother."

"Adequate. You can leave now, we are all tired from the road."

"Good night, grandmother." 

"Good night."

'She is right, I have been neglecting training lately. But couldn't she say it a bit nicer?'
