Another Deal

"Are you sure you cannot spend more time with me?" Bodil asks her brother, he can see the sadness in her eyes. "It has only been a few days."

"I promise you I will visit again, Bodil." He takes her cold hands in his. "I have to save Lady Falk, she does not deserve that life, especially that it is because of me that she is in that predicament." Bodil smiles.

'He has become so responsible.'

It has only been a few months, but it seems that her little brother has grown into a wise and brave young man. Bodil reaches to him to ruffle his hair but she stops. Instead, she caresses his face.

"I am so proud of you, Bjarte." She utters, making her brother a bit emotional. He needed to hear those words from someone for a very long time. "I do hope you visit again soon. Do bring Lady Falk with you, since you seem to be very fond of her."
