Chapter 5

Liela's POV:

The next morning, I got up and woke Tania, and we both started our day. We showered, picked out an outfit, and put it on. I was wearing a blue long-sleeve mini gown and black boots while Tania was wearing a white crop top and joggers with canvas shoes. We left the hostel at 7:20am because we didn't want to come late for any class.

"Have you done Mrs. Hailey's assignment?" Tania asked as we started climbing the stairs to the college building.

"Yes, have you?" I replied.

"Same here. Would you review mine and see if it's okay?" she asked.

"No problem, I will do it."

"But I feel this is too much for us. We literally just resumed three days ago, and this so-called Mrs. Hailey has started giving us assignments," she said angrily.

"I know, Tania, but lectures starts immediately after we resume, so I don't mind all of this," I said calmly.

"But this is too far. I'm already disliking that woman," she said.

"Please don't, Tania," I said, tickling her. We both laughed as we entered the building.

Ryan's POV:

It was 7:00 am when I decided to head out for some early morning peace. I was enjoying the comfort of the environment, hearing the birds chirping, the trees moving, and the wind blowing. I went to a bench on the pathway, closed my eyes, and listened to nature.

I started making my way to the college building at 7:28 am. I stopped in my tracks when I saw her with her friend, climbing the stairs and laughing. I smiled slightly as I saw her laugh, and went inside to the lecture theatre. I looked around observing everywhere and marked two spot. I went to sit at the extreme end of the third row.

Today would be an introductory class to this course Mrs Avon said.

Writing down the course outline showed on the screen, I turned to see Liela tucking a strand of hair at the back of her ear and was talking to her friend. Something wasn't right, her expression was different from the smiling girl I saw a few minutes ago. Was something wrong? I was trying to think of what could make her like these but nothing came to my mind.

After class ended I waited till they stood up and saw her walking in an unusual way. Her two legs were together and she was walking step by step while her friend was at the back of her. Knowing what the situation was I picked up my phone and called someone.

I need you to get some tampons, new clothes, undies and a pain killer within 5 minutes l said coldly.

But sir what do you need them for? A male voice answered.

Don't question me Marcus l said and ended the call.

Marcus's POV

"I'm not even in your school, how can I get all these to you within five minutes boss. If I got there where would I see you" l complained as I took the card and went to a store to get all he needed.

What do you need these for boss? Does he have a woman no I doubt that, after that incident I'm sure he wouldn't dare l said as I got the last item and went to the counter to pay for them. I left the store and got in the Lexus before driving to Nile university.

I came out and saw the cold lord frowning at me, I quickly picked the item and went to meet him.

Boss l...

"I will deal with you later" he said and took the item before going back into the gate.

I knew l was a dead meat when he says something like this. Well thank god he's in school, nothing would happen for now l said and went back to the car before driving off.

Ryan's POV:

After getting the supplies for Liela, I realized I had lost track of her. I'm pretty sure she hasn't gone to the hostel, looking at this she wouldn't walk back to the hostel due to her state. So her friend would be the one to get the necessary things for her and I saw her in a class so she must be waiting there. I went to college building, got to the class and saw her resting her head on the table.
