Pokèmon!

'Either I should run away or....no i shouldn't run from her. Especially when that thing is alive'. I detected a huge amount of mana out of nowhere , which was without a doubt belonged to the boss of dungeon.The boss should have waited at the end of dungeon but this boss was not lazy like that spider .

Yuno also took out her blades which she put inside her sheath before. I decided to observe the situation first before jumping on the scene.

After waiting for a minute in anticipation, a white fenrir about the size of 6 m , came to our view. The fenrir had fangs which seemed like it could pierce through anything,in which it comes in contact with. The deadly red eyes were glaring aggressively toward Yuno , who had an expressionless face.

The most preculiar thing of the wolf was the red ruby on its forehead.

It was the size of a baseball but in hexagonal shape and was dim lighted from the point the fenrir arrived.

*GGRRR* The growling never stopped , and even now when Yuno was in its view, the fenrir didn't attacked head on like usually what a monster does, but was only observing her. It didn't caught my presence and I wasn't so much surprised about it because of my mana concealment.

Either monster or hunter, they couldn't find my presence until they have hight affinity with magic or have great amount of experience .

Yuno was not same as her opponent to wait for attack . She threw the sheaths and after holding the blade in reverse grip , she started running toward the fenrir, in a fierce speed.

I was sure that, her agile movements and precise techniques were the results of the hard training she must have went through but even with those movements there was somethin lacking , and that was proper planning .

The fenrir stood still but the ruby stone on its forhead started shining brightly.

'It is waiting for her to get closer'. I concluded just before Yuno could reach the fenrir.

*MMNN**ZZZUMM* yellow lightning started enveloping the fenrir's body and not only that, the lightning was started to cover the nearby area too. Yuno was a metre away from the fenrir . The bolts were like making a field and it wasn't a question, what could happen to the those things, who got enwrapped in that field.

Even she had run to the opposit side, there was no chance for her to escape the yellow lightning as its speed of increment was getting relatively faster each second.

Yuno stopped her feet and was stunned to see the lightning field approaching her , that's the time when I jumped and made my entrance on the scene.

{3rd person POV:}

Subaru jumped from the top of the rock and with a bullet speed landed just a step ahead of Yuno , who was standing flashbanggered not only because of the lightning , but now because of Subaru too.

Subaru raised his hands and slammed his palms on the ground .

In an instant, a thick rock wall with a height of 15 ft and width more than 8 ft , erected in front of him.

The lightning field struck on the wall and even started scrabbing it little by little but the wall was far too thick to get destroyed by the lightning.

After a minute the buzzing sound of lightning stopped but soon a flying wolf came to the vision of both Yuno and Subaru . The fenrir jumped over the wall and started bulleting toward the duo. The wall got destroyed in a second after Subaru released his focus from it.

Subaru picked Yuno in a princess carry and immediately , jumped some metres backward.

"This game is going too long". Subaru said while glaring at the fenrir. Yuno was still in his carry like a baby. It was the first time after very long time , for someone to dare to touch her . But she was feeling somewhat comfortable in his embrace.

Subaru gently dropped Yuno behind a rock and jumped again infront of the fenrir , but this time he had a weapon in his hand . It was the blade which Subaru sneakily stole from Yuno when she was getting mesmerized .

"Let's see how much I am capable with a weapon". Subaru held the hilt of the sword and formed a perfect stance with his blade facing the fenrir's face.

Fenrir growled , however it started observing it's opponent again. Subaru knew that fenrir was far more capable than just generating the electrical field , so he was ready for the worst.

' I don't have a whole day'. Subaru had already checked the time and he had only half an hour before a guild could report about the breach of the gate.

Suabru dashed toward the fenrir and with a far greater speed than Yuno , jumped in the air . When fenrir noticed the approaching speed of its opponent, it got uneasy and in panic casted another attack.

A ball made of electricity started forming in its mouth.

'TF? Is it a Pokemon?' Subaru who already aimed his sword toward the ruby, chuckled but didn't stopped.

The electricity ball was released in the air aimlessly however it wasn't for the attack but for defence.

The ball was roaming freely like it had its own life.

When Subaru neared the fenrir , the ball immediately shoted toward him .

'Is it even possible?' Subaru exclaimed at the absurd use of mana which the fenrir was using to manipulate the ball without even looking toward it , but Subaru was smirking at the site for some reason instead of panicking.

When the ball was about half metre away from Subaru who was in mid air , Suabru activated his spell.

'Terminal Void'. A colourless cube started forming on Subaru's hand, who was now standing in the mid air with an invisible platform underneath his feet.

The cube was not big in size, however it was perfect in size to envelope the ball.

The cube absorbed the electrical ball which started going berserk after entering the cube . The cube started shrinking immediately after absorbing its prey and after some seconds it got disappeared in thin air.

"Hah...I wish I could use you someday". Subaru talked with the sword which wasn't of any use to Subaru who had a variety of spells in his inventory and on which he always relied on , in the end.

"Now doggy, let's end it. I am getting bored with the yellow flashes of yours".

Fenrir was in distressed after the mana ball disappeared suddenly , but Subaru had nothing to do with that and continued with his spell.

'Mana threads'. Ten invisible threads from each finger of Subaru started flowing toward the fenrir who was standing dumbfounded by the failure of its previous attack.

Those threads needed high amount of concentration which took 2 months for Subaru to master .

The threads surrounded the fenrir and instantly trapped the whole body of the huge wolf .

Before the walls of cave could have heard the cry of fenrir, the threads did their job . It's body got cut into several pieces and it was chopped so cleanly that even a single drop of blood didn't got splattered around.

'Its still feel disgusting but I think I will get use to it'. Subaru felt nausea,similar to the times when he saw something gory like this.

He always acted tough but still he the preparation was nothing compared to the real experience.

After checking the ruby which was nothing but just a mana reserve for the beast , Subaru returned back to Yuno who was sitting cross legged at the same place where he left her before.

She saw each and every second of the one sided battle very carefully. She had much power to defeat the fenrir anyhow without Subaru's help but she let him fight solely , for some reasons.

"Are you okay? " Subaru brought Yuno back to the reality ,who was staring endlessly to his blue eyes which was the only visible part of his whole face.

"How did you found out about this dunegon so fast?" Yuno asked and her stare changed into thin glare.

"I could ask you tha same. We all have our own secret , so it's better to leave that topic , don't you think ? And like you , I am also a freelancer so don't worry about me reporting you ." Subaru placed the blade beside her kneeled infront of Yuno to match her gaze.

"Now miss Yuno , I don't know we will meet again or not in the future but remember one thing . Your life isn't yours only. The one who loves you and the one who cares about you, will get hurt too if you die so suddenly . " Subaru said her name without realising that she hadn't introduced herself until now, but due to the sudden intimacy , Yuno didn't noticed those small details (for now).

Yuno gaze fell when he mentioned those person who actually doesn't exist in her life.

'Shit ...did I messed up?' He followed with an counter plan immediately.

"And if there is no one who care about your life or death then make connection with people. In this world you could become familiar with anyone if you have the power and adding your cuteness to it, I am sure everyone will try to befriend you." Yuno's hid her face behind her knees , with her ears getting red after hearing particular remark of his.

"Uh..I guess someone is coming. Okay then Yuno take care . If destiny decides then we will meet again and if it happens then lets be friends okay?" Without waiting for her response, Subaru left the flashbanggered Yuno who was surfing high in various kinds of emotions inside her mind.

'It feels that I have said this to someone else too'. Subaru already forgot about the white masked girl he met 2 years ago and how he said some similar lines at that time too.

Subaru left the cave , passing by the confused low grade hunters who were cautiously moving toward the end of the cave after they saw the dead bodies of the wolves .

Back at the place where Subaru fought with the fenrir, Yuno was sitting still in the exact position with her face hidden behind her knees and her hands over them.

"Whether destiny decides or not , I will meet you again soon, my hero~ ".
