Shaw In Trouble

"A gun? How did he get a gun inside my casino.? " Mr Huffington was fuming at this point.

"Sir, I really don't know but we have detained him right now "

Bryan said with fear in his voice. He remembered how the last head of security was sacked from his job and later killed by Mr Huffington for allowing a breach in the security. He prays silently for himself.

"Alright I will be coming outside to handle the situation and tell your men at the door I want to see all of them in my office by 6pm."

Mr Huffington ordered. He was furious at his guys for allowing someone with a gun come inside his casino. Illegal weapons at a casino is bad for business.

"Yes sir, we are taking him to the dungeon now " Bryan informed him.

Bryan knew what will happen to his men when they go see Mr Huffington. The thought of it made him angry he decided to vent his frustration on the player who brought a gun inside the casino by beating him mercilessly.

"Mr lancaster if you will excuse me I will like to go take a look at the individual who had the guts to bring a gun into my casino."

Mr Huffington said turning to his friend and opening the door to go outside.

Mr lancaster who has been calm all through wasn't bothered about going to check who the player was. As a seasoned player he was used to situations like this.

Everyone knows the penalty for bringing a gun inside the casino. For an amateur player it was loosing ones finger as a reminder never to repeat it. And if the gun was use to cause injury or death same will have to be done to the individual with the gun or a fine covering the treatment of the injured can be paid.

In this case the bullet from the gun hit the other player on the left eye ball and he was quickly rushed to the hospital.

When Mr Huffington got the full story of what transpired he ordered his men to bring the tools to remove both a finger and an eye ball from the offender.

Barley ten minutes after leaving the office Mr lancaster received a call from his friend.

"You might want to see who is in the dungeon here he heard his friend say."

"Why would I want to? "

"Just come down to the dungeon you wouldn't believe it if I told you."

Mr lancaster quickly rushed down, he knows when his friend wasn't joking around.

On getting to the dungeon he was shocked at what he saw. There on the floor brutally beaten was Shaw. Shaw lancaster, his first son.

"Who dares touch my son", he roared looking at Bryan and his men.

"When I came down here I recognized him as shaw that's why I called you." Mr Huffington said.

'I want an explanation Huff why is my son on the floor looking dejected."

"Sir, we didn't know he is your son" Bryan said.

'He is the amateur player who carried a gun inside the casino. He registered here as Mr Shaw Mikelson. I think he didn't want anyone to know he is a Lancaster ."

Mr Lancaster was shocked at the revelation. He couldn't believe Shaw was a member of the casino. Shaw at this point couldn't believe his eyes when he saw his dad. He bowed his head in shame and wished he was hallucinating . The pains he was feeling now prevented him from thinking straight.

"What do we do now" Bryan asked Mr Huffington. Mr Huffington turned to his friend expecting him to say something.

Mr Lancaster has been subjected to a difficult position.

After thinking for a while Mr lancaster came up with a reply sounding very cold.

"I will help him pay the fine for the treatment of the injured player. But he will have to suffer for bringing a gun into the casino in the first place. No one is an exception not even my son."

"Bryan cut the finger on his left hand "

he barked without emotion as he walked away. Everyone was shocked, they all thought he would want to interfer and save his son.

Shaw couldn't believe his ears when he heard his dad. He thought he will be saved from the shame of loosing one of his finger. He braced himself for the pain as he curses his father in his heart.

"You heard the man" Mr Huffington said turning to Bryan. Make it snappy. With that he walked away. He knew his friend didn't like showing weakness, that's why he gave him the chance to make the decision.

The voice of Shaw screaming could be heard by everyone in the casino as there was a speaker in the dungeon. It was design this way to instill fear in anyone with similar idea.
