92. Climate strikes back

Lisa is in her lab at the base using a wrench on a pad like device. "Almost there." Lisa said to herself.

"S'up egghead." Lisa looked behind her and sees Ronnie Anne walking in. "Whatcha working on? A VR pad?"

"First off Ronnie Anne no, and a VR pad? That is the silliest invention name I ever heard." Lisa replied. "This is a teleporter."

"A teleporter?" Ronnie Anne repeated. "Why the hell are you creating a teleporter?" Mr. Cuddles then pops up.

"For science!" Mr. Cuddles responded. "Plus we think it'll be easier to get around and bring stuff in. Like when we steal vehicles. We almost got pulled over by the cops when we stole the L-Truck."

"Ok, but are you sure it's a good idea?" Ronnie Anne asked. "I mean teleporters aren't always safe."

"I'm aware of this. But those are examples of science fiction, where the subject is reduced to a mess or fused with an insect. This won't happen here." Lisa replied.

"Famous last words, before you turn into a mushy puddle or your head is replied with a fly's head." Ronnie Anne said.

"Ronnie Anne we can assure you that nothing bad will happen with this teleporter." Mr. Cuddles assured her. "Worst that could happen is we accidentally teleport some random pedestrian somewhere else."

"Well ok but I'm still gonna talk to Luna about this." Ronnie Anne said before walking off.

"So time to test it?" Mr. Cuddles asked.

"Indeed." Lisa responded. "Get the apple."

Mr. Cuddles walked to the fridge and brings back the apple. "Ok I got it." Mr. Cuddles said as he placed the apple on the teleporter. Both Mr. Cuddles and Lisa both placed goggles over their eyes.

"Commencing the first test in 3, 2, 1!" Lisa said as she pressed a button to activate the teleporter.

The teleporter lights up and starts making noises. However, nothing happens and the apple was still there. However the computer said teleportation success.

"Well that didn't work." Mr. Cuddles said.

"I concur. The apple should've been somewhere else but it's still here." Lisa said. "But it said it was successful so that pegs the question."

"What was teleported?" Mr. Cuddles asked.

In the Dungeon prison yard, Climate was working out on bench press as Camo spotted him.

"Seventy-eight. Seventy-nine. Eighty." Camo counted before putting the barbell back on it's holder allowing Climate to sit back up. "Damn bench pressing two hundred pounds like it's nothing."

"It ain't easy." Climate said as he stretched. "I mean you bench three hundred."

"Well I'm not human so I'm stronger than most people." Camo said. "Want to add a few pounds?"

"Yeah sure." Climate answers with a shrug. Camo goes to get more weight but after he turns around, Climate disappears. Camo comes back and sees his friend gone.

"What the hell?" Camo questions.

Climate appeared in the city a little groggy. When he regained his bearings he saw he was no longer in the Dungeon but in the city.

"How the hell did I get here?" Climate asked before shrugging. "Parole works faster than I remember. Oh well. Time to find Replicate."

Back the base, Mr. Cuddles was monitoring the monitors looking for problems in the city.

"Let's see. Old man feeding the pigeons, teenager helping an old lady cross the street." Mr. Cuddles said. "Nothing bad there. Kid riding his bike, cops directing traffic, Climate walking through the city. Nothing wrong there. Wait Climate?" He goes back to the previous monitor and sees Climate roaming the city. "Oh no. That's not good. Gotta sound the alarm!" He pressed a button causing an alarm to go off.

Lisa, Lincoln, Luna, Ronnie Anne, Sam and Lola all ran to Mr. Cuddles' location. "What's going on?" Lincoln asked.

"Climate is out of the Dungeon!" Mr. Cuddles shouted.

"How did he get out of the Dungeon!?" Lola questioned.

"Hehehe funny story." Lisa said nervously. "Remember the teleporter Mr. Cuddles and I were working on?"

"Lisa what did you and the bear do?" Luna growled through gritted teeth.

"Well when we tested it, I guess we accidentally released Climate from his cell." Lisa said before letting out a nervous chuckle followed by Mr. Cuddles however they both stopped when Luna flashed her a death glare.

"I'll deal with you two dudes later." Luna growled. "Right now we got a level ten meta on the loose and we need to take him down."

"Indeed Luna." Soothsayer said as he walked in with Petty and Tongri. "However I believe it's more grave than that. Climate will no doubt be looking for Replicate again. If those two clash, it could bring disaster to Royal Woods and put many innocent lives at risk. Also another thing. This encounter will no doubt not be as simple as last time. Last time I believe you only caught him off guard. This time he'll know what to expect."

"Soothsayer is right. We need to think of a plan." Lisa said.

"Here's the plan. We need to get the rest of team and kick Climate's ass!" Ronnie Anne said.

"Not yet." Luna said. "We do that we risk causing more harm than good. Here's the plan. We try our luck with him. Things start to go south we start calling in backup."

"Not the best plan but it's the only one we got." Lincoln said.

"Right. We're with you Lunes." Sam said.

"I suggest Petty and Tongri remain here for now." Soothsayer suggested. "There's a chance you might be able to reason with Climate due to him having his own code. So try that first."

"Right. Let's rock dudes!" Luna said.

Climate continued his way through the city as civilians ran away in fear. He hears something approaching and when he looks up he sees the L-Crew arriving with Crystal Princess and Prodigy riding on Genarocker's hoverbike. Amplifier, Firecracker and Surge then land next to them. "L-Crew. What a surprise." Climate said calmly. "What brings you here?"

"Not much. Just passing through dude." Amplifier replied. "Also I'm pretty sure that jumpsuit you're wearing means you're supposed to be in prison." Climate just shrugs.

"Hey kid I don't even know how I got here." Climate said. "But now that I'm out, I'm not sure I want to go back."

"Look we don't have to fight." Firecracker said. "Look we know you have your own code so please just go back to the Dungeon so nobody gets hurt."

"Or I kill Replicate and then I consider going back to prison." Climate said. "Now that sounds like a much better option."

"How about no." Genarocker said. "Your fight will end up killing people in the crossfire."

"So what? Lots of people in crossfires a lot." Climate shrugged.

"Sorry to say this. But your reunion with not happen." Surge said.

"And here I thought you would see it my way." Climate sighs. "Fine. We'll do it the other way." Without warning he covers his hand in ice and punches the causing the ground to freeze and icicles to start popping out of the ground towards the L-Crew who narrowly avoid it.

"Take him down!" Amplifier ordered.

Firecracker flew up in the air and sees Climate shooting icicle shards at Firecracker. Firecracker fired a fire stream at the icicles melting down the shards. Firecracker threw a mini ultra nova at Climate, but Climate dodges the big fireball. Then Surge flies towards Climate to hit him in the back, but Climate dodges Surge's attack, then he grabs by the ankle and throws her to a wall.

Amplifier and Genarocker rush from either side of him. Amplifier throws and electrified punch at him but Climate counters by forming an earth fist to catch the electricity. Genarocker throws a punch with her mechanical fists but Climate sidesteps it and throws Amplifier into it's path forcing Amplifier to take the hit.

"Sorry babe!" Genarocker called out before getting hit by an elbow by Climate.

"Ready Prodigy?" Crystal Princess asked.

"Of course." Prodigy responded. "You hit low I'll hit high."

Both Crystal Princess and Prodigy charge towards Climate. Crystal Princess forms a crystal fist in her right hand, but Climate dodges the attack and smacks Crystal Princess with an rock fist, then shoots a lightning bolt at Prodigy causing her to dodge the bolt. Then surrounds Prodigy in a ring of fire.

"Plan didn't work did it kid?" Climate taunted. He holds out an open hand before closing it causing the ring of fire to converge on Prodigy who quickly levitates out there only to get hit with a water blast.

"That hurt." Prodigy groaned. Amplifier gets back to her feet and sees Climate still standing with barely any damage. She then sees Firecracker and Genarocker rush him again.

"Time to call in reinforcements." Amplifier said.

At the Royal Woods golf course, Lori and Lynn were preparing to head to the course.

"Why did I agree to this?" Lynn asked.

"Simple. You said you wanted to try something different so I suggested golf and you just went with it." Lori told her.

"Fine." Lynn groaned when their watches went off. "Huh wonder what's up?"

"No clue." Lori said. "Luna, what's up?"

"Dudes we need some help down here now!" Amplifier shouted. Lynn and Lori looked at each other worried especially when they heard fighting happening in the background. "Climate is out of the Dungeon and he's wrecking us! Get down here quick!" The communication them cuts out. Suddenly Lana pops out of a nearby trash can.

"Climate's out?" Lana exclaimed. Her two sisters look at her weirdly. "Golf courses have the best trash."

"Right." Lori said before getting focused. "We need to get down there! Suit up!" Lana jumps out of the can and all three press their watches becoming Speed Queen, Parkour and Wildgirl. Parkour presses another button and her ATV drives up in front of her.

"Let's get him!" Parkour said before the three headed to the city.

Bobby is in the kitchen taking out some milk and pours it into a glass, but right when he's about to drink something drops into his glass. "Sergio!" Bobby shouted.

"I couldn't make it to the paper!" Sergio said as he flew away.

"I hate that bird." Bobby growled under his breath as he threw his milk down the sink. Then his watch beeped and he answers it.

"Bobby. We have a problem, Climate is out of prison, the team is not doing well get over to their location now!" Speed Queen shouted.

"On my way babe." Bobby said as he walks out of the house, he looked around and made sure no one was looking. He then pressed a button on his watch to become Armor. Then he pressed another button on his watch to bring out his motorcycle. His motorcycle drove onto the scene as Armor hopped on and drove to where the battle is at.

Luan and Lucy were walking out of a coffee house with Luan holding Lily in her arms. "Thanks for coming to my poetry reading Luan." Lucy said.

"Don't mention it." Luan said as she readjusted Lily in her arms. "I wanted to see if you still remembered my lessons. I hope you didn't mind me bringing Lily. I got stuck with babysitting duty."

"It's fine." Lucy assured her as she patted the infant's head causing her to giggle. Suddenly their watches go off and they answer.

"Luan and Lucy are you there?" Speed Queen asked.

"Yeah, we're here what's up?" Luan asked now growing worried.

"Climate is out of prison and the team already there are having problems dealing with him!" Speed Queen told them. "Get down there fast!"

"We're on it and don't worry Lily is with us." Luan said. She turns to her sisters who nod. "Suit up!" They press the buttons on their watches to become Ms. Appear, Black Ice and Greenthumb. Black Ice presses a button on her watch and not long after her snowmobile arrives. She quickly gets on it.

"Let's hurry!" Black Ice said before heading into the city.

Meanwhile at the mall food court Leni, Fiona and Miguel are drinking smoothies at the table. "Thank you for getting me a smoothie Leni. I really need it after that mall hostage that happened. I saw my whole life flashed before my eyes." Fiona said.

"I feel ya. I thought I would never see you girls again." Miguel said.

"I'm glad Ryker was able to save you." Leni said but this earned her confused glances.

"How do you know his name?" Fiona asked.

"Uh, the news?" Leni answered nervously. Suddenly her watch goes off. "Um, I gotta go." She gets up and runs outside before answering her watch. "Hello?"

"Leni? It's me!" Ms. Appear said. "Listen carefully. Climate is out of prison and in the city. Today's team is fighting him right now but he's overwhelming them. We need you to meet us there. Did you get all that?"

"I think so." Leni answered. "Go to the city and stop Climate. I'll be there." She hangs up and presses a button on her watch to become Multiple Girl. She then presses another button and her go-kart pulls up in front of her. She climbs in and hits the gas straight to the city. When she gets there she's joined by the rest of the backup team.

"See I told you she'd understand." Ms. Appear said from her forcefield hoverboard. "You all owe me ten bucks." This earned groans from everyone else.

"How bad is it?" Multiple Girl asked.

"From what Amplifier told me, pretty bad." Speed Queen said. "Climate is a level ten threat meta so I'm not surprised." They then hear an explosion and they see something falling from the sky and land on Parkour's ATV. The girls see it's Firecracker who's costume was torn up. Firecracker let's out a groan and takes in his surroundings.

"Oh hey girls and Armor." Firecracker said. "Fancy seeing you here."

"Thanks for dropping in." Ms. Appear joked.

"Really Ms. Appear?" Firecracker replied.

"I couldn't help it." Ms. Appear said.

"How did Climate escaped the Dungeon?" Wildgirl asked.

"I'll have Amplifier explain but right now the fight ain't going well." Firecracker told them.

"Alright let's go!" Speed Queen ordered. They followed Firecracker through the city to where the fight was going down. And as Firecracker said it wasn't going good. The remaining members of the team were surrounding him but that didn't help much. Climate hits Amplifier with a right jab before hitting Genarocker with a back elbow. He then proceeded to hit Crystal Princess with a kick to the stomach followed by a knee to Surge before headbutting Prodigy knocking all five away from him.

"Damn you weren't kidding little Loud." Armor said.

"Man Climate is sending to the cleaners!" Parkour said.

Climate looks up from his handiwork and sees the rest of the L-Crew. "So the rest of the party showed up." He said as he slowly began to walk towards them. "You know I was disappointed at first when only six showed up to meet me. Thought it was a joke but now the rest of the crew showed up."

"How'd you get out of the Dungeon?" Wildgirl demanded.

"Honestly I ain't too sure myself." Climate admitted. "One minute I'm in the yard bench pressing two hundred pounds, next thing I know I'm here like it was nothing."

"Prodigy would you like to tell everyone else how Climate got out?" Amplifier growled as she struggled to stand.

"If this will be our battle. Very well then." Prodigy said as she got back up, but can barely stand. "I was working at a teleporter at our base. I used an apple as a test item, but I didn't expect you to get out of the Dungeon."

"So you got me out of that place with an invention of yours? I should thank you." Climate said as he walked towards Prodigy and kicked her to the ground. Then Climate placed his foot on Prodigy's chest. "But it'll be more fun to kill you."

"Get off her now." Speed Queen growled.

"Sure." Climate said. He removed his foot off of Prodigy's chest before kicking her launching her towards her team where she's caught by Parkour.

"So much for your no-kill policy huh?" Parkour said.

"If anything it ain't personal." Climate said. "But I will give you one last chance. Stand aside and let me settle my score with Replicate. Nobody needs to get hurt."

"We're not joining you!" Speed Queen replied.

"Not the answer I was looking for." Climate said.

"You're not going any further." Black Ice said as she formed an ice hammer.

"So be it." Climate growled. "Then I guess I'll have to force my way through you. Like I said nothing personal." He ignites one of his fists in fire and covers another in electricity. He then rushed towards the L-Crew. He hits Multiple Girl with the fire fist before hitting Wildgirl with the electric fist.

Black Ice throws her ice hammer at Climate but he shoots a fireball at the ice hammer destroying it. Then Black Ice shoots an ice beam at Climate's fire fist putting it out and forming two an ice sword and shield. Climate tried to punch Black Ice with an electric fist, but Black Ice blocks the attack and slashes Climate with her ice sword.

An invisible Ms. Appear sneaks up to Climate and delivers a kick to the gut. Climate tries to hit Ms. Appear, but all he can hit is air. Then Black Ice charged towards Climate to attack him, but Climate ignited his fire fist and punches Black Ice right in the face with a fiery fist.

He then gets hit in the back of the head stunning him. "How'd you like that?" Ms. Appear taunted. Climate reaches out and grabs something solid which is revealed as Ms. Appear. "I guess not much huh?" Climate then proceeded to electrocute Ms. Appear before slamming her down. Parkour goes for a superman punch but Climate catches her by the throat.

"Let me go!" Parkour growled.

"Sure." Climate responds before forming a rock fist. He drops Parkour right before punching her as she falls towards the ground.

Speed Queen runs at super speed heading towards Climate and punching him a bunch of times until Climate raises a rock wall in front of Speed Queen. Speed Queen took notice of this and turned left, only for Climate to raise another rock wall and Speed Queen slams into it.

"Should've seen that coming." Speed Queen groaned. Armor then takes a swing at Armor but catches his hand in his own before sending Armor flying back with a wind blast.

"Why do you fight so hard to protect a man who doesn't give a damn about you?" Climate asked as he avoided a fireball from Firecracker. "He could care less about you yet you protect him. Why? What does he have on you?" He is then hit from behind by Wildgirl as a triceratops.

"He maybe a man of secrets. But it's people like you we have a problem with." Black Ice shouted as she hits Climate with her ice hammer.

"We're trying to prevent a dangerous disaster from happening in Royal Woods." said Surge as she fired an energy beam at Climate.

The beam hits Climate sending him sliding back a little. "You kids are delusional!" He shouted. "He'd turn on you in a second."

"We're aware of that." Crystal Princess said as she smacks Climate with a crystal hammer.

"Yet you still defend him." Climate said. "You kids are either crazy or foolish." He grabs Crystal Princess's arm and slams her to the ground.

"We prefer honorable!" Genarocker said as she formed her giant feet and dropped kicked Climate sending him flying back.

"Unlike you!" Parkour shouted as she ripped a street lamb out of the ground and hits Climate like a baseball. But Climate uses his wind powers to prevent the crash landing.

"I have my own definition of honor," Climate said. "Look I'm just trying to kill a guy who used to be my friend yet you are in the way! So if I have to end you so be it! Bring it on! Give me everything you got!"

"With pleasure." Firecracker said. Wildgirl walks up beside him and goes gorilla.

Firecracker and Wildgirl both charge towards Climate, Wildgirl smacks Climate to the side in her gorilla form. Firecracker ignited his fists begins to beat up Climate. But Climate elbows Firecracker in the chest pushing him down. Wildgirl grabs Climate by the ankles and tosses him to a wall.

Wildgirl beats her chest and then rushed towards him with such force that they both went through the wall and into the building. Climate gets up only to get uppercutted by Wildgirl sending him flying upward into the ceiling where he slams back to the ground. She goes for another punch but Climate avoided it before hitting her with several firey body shots. Crystal Princess runs into the building and sees her twin starting to lose ground against Climate. She then runs towards the two where she jumps up and hits Climate in the head with a crystal mace causing him to stumble back. Crystal Princess then climbs onto Wildgirl's gorilla shoulders.

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Crystal Princess asked.

"Always." Wildgirl answers. She then holds her hands up and Crystal Princess covers them in crystals.

The twins charge towards Climate and Wildgirl punches Climate in the face, causing him to hit a photocopier on impact. Then Crystal Princess jumps in the air with a crystal mace in her hands and lets out a battle cry. But Climate dodges the attack right when Crystal Princess hits the printer. Then Climate freezes the mace and Crystal Princess' hands together, she tries to free herself but Crystal Princess is struggling to break free. Climate then forms an electric fist and right before he deliver the attack Wildgirl tackles Climate away. Then she breaks the ice freeing Crystal Princess from her icy prison.

Crystal Princess forms another crystal mace and sees Climate charging towards the two with both of his hands coating in rocks. Wildgirl gets in the way, both Wildgirl and Climate both deliver their punches and they both collide, creating a shockwave that pushes back everything in the building even Crystal Princess. "Not bad kid." Climate said as he then punches into Wildgirl's right arm, causing her to scream in pain, causing her to turn back to her human form. Climate than grabs Wildgirl and smacks her head across the wall and tosses her through an office.

"Wildgirl!" Crystal Princess shouted. "You'll pay for that!" She then rushed forward but Climate blasts her with fire forcing her to stop in her tracks before being kicked in the face. However, Climate has no time to rest when two large arms reach through the floor and pull him through into the boiler room. Climate let's out a groan and sees Petty standing before him.

"Don't remember seeing you." Climate said. "What the hell are you?"

"Me Petty." said Petty.

"I thought you were that other idiot in the Dungeon." Climate said as he's about to punch Petty. But Petty grabs Climate's fist and smacks him to the side.

Climate let's out a growl and gets back up. Climate's hands then turn to ice and starts walking towards Petty. Petty let's out a growl of his own and begins to walk towards Climate. Once the two are face to face they stare down with the two almost the same height with Climate looking up only slightly at the large rubber creature.

"You're a big guy. But I handle bigger chums then you." Climate smirked.

"Petty not scared of you." Petty growled. Then without warning Climate struck, hitting Petty with a hard right hook to the face followed by a left hook. Petty growled and hit Climate with a hard right hand sending him stumbling back. Petty then grabs Climate by his jumpsuit and slams into a wall a few times. Petty then lifts him up but Climate punches him in the chest forcing Petty to release him. After he's freed of Petty's grip he noticed parts of the rubber creature was frozen causing him to smile. Petty swings at Climate but he ducks out of the way before hitting several body shots on him with those bits freezing. Petty swings again and once again Climate avoided it and hits Petty with a fist to the face. Petty however gets a hand on Climate and slams him onto the ground only for Climate to freeze his leg by just touching it. Petty tries to move but has difficulty.

"What's wrong big fella?" Climate taunted. "Feeling a little stiff?"

"Petty cold." Petty said. Climate smirks and frees himself from Petty's grip before standing up.

"Didn't you know?" Climate asked. "Rubber and ice don't mix. Time to end this." He forms a rock fist when he suddenly hears laughing.

"Aw c'mon now." A voice said. "That wouldn't be very ice of you. Hahaha. Get it?"

"That girl again?" Climate growled.

"She is not alone." Another voice is heard.

"They're down here too?!" Climate questioned.

"You bet!" Ms. Appear said though her voice made it seem like she was everywhere. "When Wildgirl took you into this building we called Petty where the two of us came up with a plan."

"Now you will fear the shadows." Black Ice finished from the shadows.

"I fear nothing. You should be the ones who are scared." Climate said, but then he hits in the chest, but he didn't see who hit him. "Come on out you brats!"

Suddenly Black Ice leaps out of the shadows and hits him with ice hammer before jumping back into the shadows. Climate blasts some fire towards the area Black Ice went into but she once again leaped out from a different area hitting him with her hammer before jumping back into the shadows with Climate once again shooting fire after her only for Black Ice to repeat the process.

"Do you fear the shadows yet?" Black Ice said from the shadows.

"I fear nothing." Climate said as he ignited fists and surrounded the area in flames.

Climate smiles as he watched the area burn as he waited for Black Ice to come into the light. However he hears something above him. Curious he looks up to see Black Ice using her ice daggers to hang onto the ceilings. Black Ice then releases her daggers and drops to the ground while forming ice swords. Before she hits the ground she slashes at Climate who barely avoided it. "Do you fear it now?" Black Ice asked.

"I fear nothing." Climate growled.

"How about two sisters about to beat your butt?" Ms. Appear asked as she became visible before creating two forcefield blades.

Both Black Ice and Ms. Appear both charge towards Climate. Black Ice froze the ground underneath them causing the two slide across as Black Ice forms two ice swords in her hands and they both slashed Climate to the ground. Climate recovers from the attack, as he gets back up he sees an ice wall placed right in for the of him, Climate shoots a fireball at the ice wall. But there was no one behind the wall.

Then Black Ice reappears in front of Climate with an ice hammer in her hands and smacks Climate in the face. Ms. Appear then knees Climate in the back and disappears. Climate growls at Black Ice who charges towards her, but then he hits an invisible wall. But the invisible wall was actually a huge ice box with ice daggers aimed towards Climate. Outside of the ice box Black Ice snaps her fingers and the ice daggers all hit Climate.

Climate drops to a knee and growls as the two start to approach him. "Surrender Climate and this stops." Ms. Appear told him.

"How about no." Climate said. "Look down." The two look down to see that the ice melted due to the surrounding fire blazing. Climate's hand then sparks causing the two girls to gasp in realization. "Shocking isn't it?" He touches the water that then electrocuted Black Ice and Ms. Appear causing them to collapse. "Now time to get out of here." He jumps out through the hole he was pulled through but as soon as he was out he was suddenly tackled by something moving at full speed which knocks him back through another exit and into an alley. He sits up and sees Speed Queen standing before him.

"Give up yet?" Speed Queen asked.

"No. I think you should give up kid." Climate said.

"I'm 17!" Speed Queen said.

"That's still a kid." Climate said.

"No it's a freaking teenager." Speed Queen argued.

"Are you really arguing with him about this?" Surge asked as she lowered herself next to Speed Queen before also being joined by Tongri.

"Is that a tiger?" Climate asked.

"A Siberian tiger, to be exact." Surge said.

"He's pretty big." Climate said.

"And deadly." Surge said. "Tongri sick him!"

Tongri lunges towards Climate and lets out a snarl, Climate dodges the lunge but his right arm gets slashed by Tongri's claws. "Damn it!" Climate groaned in pain as he clutched his right shoulder.

"Good tiger." Speed Queen compliments. "Now let's take him down!" She then speeds forward and punches him right in the face before speeding behind him and hitting him in the back of the head. She begins to just run around and randomly stopping to hit him.

Climate then freezes the ground around him, causing Speed Queen to slip on the ice. Then Surge flies in and starts blasting energy shots at Climate, but he dodges the shots and created a rock shield on his right hand.

"I'll give you this kid you've a lot tougher since our last fight!" Climate said. "Too bad it won't save you!"

"We'll see about that!" Surge retorted before firing an energy beam at Climate that forces him back out of the alley not far from Flip's Food and Fuel. Climate let's out a growl only to see Tongri running towards him before rearing up and swiping at him.

Climate groans in pain, but right when Tongri gets ready to attack him again. But Climate shoots up a flame wall in front of the tiger. "Try and attack me now." Climate said.

Suddenly much to his surprise Tongri leaps through the fire and right onto him. Climate let out a small grunt as the tiger's large and muscular frame landed on him with Climate barely staying on his face. Then with another grunt he threw the tiger off of him.

"Our tiger is awesome." Surge said. "Now let's get him Speed Queen!"

"I'm with with you on that Surge!" Speed Queen nodded as the two charged towards Climate as he ignited his right fist with fire and his left fist covered in rock.

"I rather have the tiger attack me again." Climate mumbled to himself.

He hears growling and he sees Tongri start to get up and joins in. "Shit." Climate muttered. Speed Queen hits a speeding drive-by kick that stuns Climate allowing Surge to hit with an energy ball that causes him to fall back. Climate then shoots fire at Surge who maneuvers around it which allows Tongri to jump onto Climate's back and bite his shoulder but the rocks protected him. Climate throws Tongri off of him only to get hit by a speeding punch by Speed Queen.

Surge then fired some energy blasts at Climate, but he dodges the energy blasts. Just as she flew closer towards Climate, Climate gives Surge and left hook to the face, Surge hits a wall on impact and when she recovers she has a black eye on her left eye.

"Well that hurt." Surge groaned. Speed Queen speeds towards Climate but Climate holds out his hand and a strong gust of wind whips up. Speed Queen tries to power through it but it slows her down enough where Climate can hit her with a heavy uppercut that sends her flying onto a dumpster. Climate goes to blast her with electricity when he suddenly is pulled out of the alley and into the street outside the library. Climate sits up and sees Parkour, Multiple Girl and Prodigy.

Climate gets back up and glares at the three heroes as they go into a battle stance.

Inside Royal Woods public library, the librarian is listening to classical music on noise cancelling headphones while checking in the returned books, behind her Parkour slams Climate through four shelves of books. Multiple Girl and Prodigy entered the library through the hole in the wall. Climate pushes Parkour off of him and picks up a table and throws it towards Multiple Girl, Multiple Girl splits into two clones and they avoided the table. However the table was heading straight to the librarian, so Prodigy uses her telekinesis to grab the table before it hits the music listening librarian and throws it back at Climate. The Librarian then begins to walk away from the room without noticing the damage done to the library.

Then Parkour and Prodigy are thrown to the wall and Parkour gets back up and tackles Climate again.

The two go through the wall into another part of the library. However there were some people in there who were very focused on their books. Multiple Girl and her clone run up to Climate and they both thrust kick him into a bookshelf.

"You kids are gonna get it!" Climate shouted.

"Bring it on!" Parkour shouted back. The two sides then charge towards each other.

"Shhh!" Everyone in the library said in unison causing both sides to stop in their tracks.

"Um, maybe we should head outside." Prodigy suggested.

"Yep." The other three agreed. They start heading towards the exit apologizing as they left. When they reach the door, Climate opens it and let's the girls walk out before following. Once they're outside they turn to each other.

"Well that was something." Parkour said.

"Tell me about it." Climate said.

"So are we gonna continue or no?" Multiple Girl asked.

"Oh right." Climate said before hitting Parkour with a water fist.

Multiple Girl and her clone both ran towards Climate, but Climate puts his palms together and fires a gust of wind at the two girls. But Prodigy used his telekinesis to saved Multiple Girl's fall.

"Thanks." Multiple Girl said.

"Don't mention it." Prodigy said.

"You kids are resourceful I'll give you that." Climate growled. "But it won't help you."

"Teamwork always helped us out." Multiple Girl replied.

"And clever thinking always work." Parkour said.

"And when those failed, we go for plan B." Parkour said. "Hit it till it works!"

"That's the dumbest plan I ever heard." said Climate.

"It works most of the time." Parkour replied.

"I hate to admit it but she's not wrong." Prodigy admitted. "Also look up." Climate looks at her confused but indeed looks up to see a semi floating above him. She then raises her and brings it down slamming it on Climate.

"You think that did the job?" Parkour asked.

"If I know Climate, it would only make him more angry." Prodigy explained.

As if on cue, several rock columns appear from the ground and launched the semi off of Climate who stood up a very furious look on his face.

"I think he's mad." Multiple Girl said before forming multiple duplicates.

"Then let's get him!" Parkour shouted.

The heroes all charge towards Climate, but Climate pushes back the girls with a huge gust of and forms ice shards within the wind and they began to slow down the girls.

Parkour pushes through and grabbed a sewer cover and throws it at Climate but it blows away. However it does distract him enough for one of Multiple Girl's clones to sneak up behind him.

The clone then kicks Climate in the back of the knee reducing him go down and lose his focus on the ice en she placed Climate in a choke hold. But Climate grabs the clones throws her to the side, but Parkour hits Climate with a shoulder tackle.

Parkour then runs up and starts hitting him with a barrage of punches and kick. Climate catches her fist and then throws her away only for her to get caught by Prodigy's telekinesis. Prodigy then launched Parkour back at Climate where she kicks him in the face. Multiple Girl along with her clones then charged at Climate. One clone launched the original who hit Climate with a diving kick. Two more clones run up and one swings the other at him hitting his chest causing him to stumble.

"You kids are tougher than I remember." Climate said as the rest of the L-Crew showed up. "Believe it or not, this is the most fun I've had in a while." He looks at his prison jumpsuit and saw that the top half was practically destroyed. He grabbed it, ripped it off (causing the girls to blush a little) leaving him only wearing the bottom half of his jumpsuit. "But this is where it ends.

"Yo he's jacked!" Parkour said.

"Time for my final trick." Climate growled. He let's out a shout and then suddenly a black and purple aura surrounds him turning his skin purple and his eyes pure white.

"He went Aether mode!" Prodigy shouted.

"Not again!" Crystal Princess shouted.

"We can beat him the same way again. Right?" Multiple Girl replied.

"Wrong." Prodigy said. "No doubt he will be ready. We'll have to find a new way to defeat him."

"And first step is letting loose." Speed Queen said.

"Like wait for an opening or something?" Armor asked.

Climate then forms an aether orb in his hands and the throws it at the L-Crew, they managed to dodge the attack. "Try and stop me now kids!" Climate shoutedas it sounded contorted like there two people talking.

"With pleasure." Speed Queen said. "Take him down. No holding back."

"Speaking my language." Parkour said. Before anyone can react, Climate suddenly appears directly in front of the L-Crew. He holds up and hand that starts to form a purple orb.

"Suffer." Climate said before firing the orb at them.

"Get back!" Speed Queen ordered. The L-Crew quickly jump out of the way right as the orb hit the ground.

Surge flies up in the air and begins to think of a plan. "Ok this is like a video game. Memorize the pattern and wait for the right time for attack." Surge said to herself.

However she is then blasted out of the sky by a Aether blast that sends her crashing to the ground. "And you shouldn't have said it out loud." Climate mocked.

"No one hurts my little sister!" Armor shouted away he threw a newspaper stand towards Climate, but it gets destroyed around the aura of Climate.

"Then how about I hurt the brother?" Climate said. He then appears in front of Climate and kicks Armor hard in the arm causing him to scream out in pain. He looked down and saw his arm hanging awkwardly. Before he can do anything, Climate blasts him away. However Armor gets back up.

"No more games." Armor growled. He touches a tire and turns his body rubber. "Let's go again!"

Climate throws two aether balls towards Armor, but he jumps in the air then bounces off the ground when the second aether ball hit the ground. Armor begins to get closer to Climate and punches Climate in the face before he made back on the ground. Climate then fired a beam of aether at Armor, but Armor dodges the beam and jumps in the air

"Not bad for a someone who has one working arm." Armor smirked.

"How about I break the rest of your bones." Climate growled. He fires an Aether beam at Armor who rolls out of the way. Climate keeps firing beams at Armor who keeps bouncing out of the way. He then bounced off of a building and hits Climate in head before landing on his feet while clutching his arm.

"Armor!" Armor looks and sees Genarocker motioning at him with her cannon ready.

"Hell yeah!" Armor said. He runs towards Genarocker, coating himself with steel as he ran before climbing into the cannon. "I'm locked and loaded."

"Wait for it." Genarocker said as she aimed her cannon at Climate. Climate proceed to fire another aether beam at Black Ice. "Gotcha."Genarocker said and fired Armor out of her cannon. Armor flew towards Climate and hits him in the chest. Then Armor landed on the ground and he smirks.

"It was worth it." said Armor as he held his broken arm.

Climate gets back up and proceeds to kick Armor sending him flying into a building. "Well there goes Armor." Genarocker said. "Guess I should try my luck!" She's then joined by Amplifier, Petty and Tongri.

"Mind if we join in?" Amplifier asked.

"Sure. It can be a family affair." Genarocker said confusing Amplifier.

"Come again?" Amplifier asked.

"Well since Petty sees you as his mother, if you and I get married that makes me his mother too." Genarocker said causing Amplifier to blush. "And Tongri is our house cat that's also a tiger."

"Well in that case. Let's kick his ass dudes." Amplifier said as her fists electrified.

"Petty smash!" Petty shouted.

Tongri let's out a roar and the four charge forward. Amplifier goes for a punch but Climate grabs her arm and slams her down. Genarocker swings her sword at him but he sidesteps her and hits a knee to her stomach before hitting her with a small ball of Aether energy sending her flying. Petty then rushed him and hit a shoulder tackle which is followed with Tongri leaping off Petty's back towards Climate who catches him and throws him to the side before blasting Petty with an Aether beam sending him flying.

"Petty!" Amplifier cried out.

"You two are next!" Climate said as he charged another aether beam. Then fired again at Amplifier and Genarocker, but luckily the two got out of the way. But Amplifier shot a lightning stream at Climate.

The stream hits Climate who let's out a growl. Firecracker then hits a diving fire kick followed by Ms. Appear slashing at him with a forcefield blade.

That's when Black Ice slashes Climate with an ice sword, and Surge fires an energy blast at Climate's chest. But right when Parkour and Crystal Princess were about to make their attacks, the aura pushed back the two back as they hit a building in the process.

"This isn't working!" Speed Queen shouted. "We're barely hurting him!"

"We're running out of options!" Prodigy added. "If we don't stop Climate in this state he could very well annihilate the city!"

"We need a plan!" Firecracker groaned. Nearby Wildgirl was standing by the sidewalk trying to find a way to attack Climate but saw no openings.

"Oh man. What do we do?" Wildgirl asked herself. "How do we beat him?" He watch then goes off. "Yeah?"

"Ah Lana, I believe this counts as a last resort." Soothsayer said. Wildgirl looks at her watch confused before coming to a realization.

"Oh yeah." Wildgirl said. "I guess it does."

Climate slowly approached Speed Queen, Multiple Girl and Greenthumb as they prepared for whatever attack he launched at them when a large shadow covers them.

"Um, where did the sun go?" Multiple Girl asked. Climate stopped walking and he looks up behind the girls. The three turn to follow his gaze and they see what he's looking at. A large green dragon.

"Wildgirl has turned into her dragon form!" Speed Queen shouted.

"Yay! Wildgirl transformed she's gonna say is all!" Multiple Girl cheered.

Wildgirl let's out a roar before raising one of her front legs and swipes at Climate who barely avoided it. She then shoots her fire breath which again he avoided but Wildgirl accidentally blew up a car.

"Oops." Wildgirl thought.

"Oh no! Wildgirl transformed she's gonna destroy us all!" Multiple Girl panicked earning her a glare from Speed Queen. Climate let's out a growl and takes off into the sky. Wildgirl stretched out her wings and took off after him. Climate fires a Aether beam at her but Wildgirl counters with her fire breath causing the two attacks to collide. Wildgirl then flies towards him and tries to hit him with her head but Climate barely avoided it before blasting her stomach. Wildgirl let's out a roar of pain and outrage before hitting Climate with her tail sending him crashing into the roof of a building.

"Time to finish him." Wildgirl thought. "But I gotta do it quick. I can't hold this form much longer." She then shoots her fire breath at Climate that hits him head on. "Just a little more." Wildgirl then begins to feel herself losing her grip on the form. "C'mon just a few more minutes!" However she turned back to human. She then realized she was still in the air and looked up. "Uh oh." She then began plummeting towards the ground screaming and trying to transform. "Bird. Bird. Please just let me become a freaking bird or something!" However her powers don't work and she continues to fall to the ground only to stop in midair. She opened her eyes and felt two arms holding her side as well as feeling a little warm.

"Gotcha!" Firecracker said as he lowered her to the ground.

"Thanks Firecracker." Wildgirl said as she got back on the ground where she's immediately tackled by Crystal Princess.

"I'm so glad you're ok!" Crystal Princess said.

"Yeah. But I'm powerless for the time being." Wildgirl explained.

"But at least you held up your own against Climate." said Ms. Appear.

"I wonder if you beat him?" Surge asked and if on cue, a very angry still Aether powered Climate lands in front of them. "Nope."

"I'm gonna destroy you!" Climate shouted. However the aura surrounding him began to flicker.

"Guys I think his Aether form is wearing off." Firecracker said.

"Then let's end this." Speed Queen said. She and her siblings let out a shout and soon the eleven of them are surrounded by aura in the shape of their spirit animals. "This ends now. Wildgirl be careful."

"Got it!" Wildgirl nodded.

"Let's end this!" Speed Queen shouted.

"Yeah!" The L-Crew replied.

Speed Queen rushes forward and hits a hurricane kick that hits Climate in the jaw followed by Multiple Girl being swung around by one of her clones hitting Climate in the chest.

Amplifier charged up an electric ball in her right hand and charged toward Climate and strike him in the chest. Ms. Appear jumps in the air and slashed Climate with a forcefield sword. Parkour takes a running start and then she leaped in the air and double kicks Climate in the chest. Firecracker flew up in the air and threw a mini ultra nova at Climate.

Climate stumbles a bit. Black Ice then leaps up and slashed Climate's back. Wildgirl then runs up kicks Climate in the back of the knee followed by Crystal Princess hitting Climate in the face with a crystal hammer. Prodigy then lifts Climate off the ground and slams Climate down several times before tossing him up into the air where he's hit by a giant plant stalk created by Greenthumb. When Climate lands on the ground, he's immediately slashed by Tongri followed by a shoulder tackle by Petty who sends Climate flying into Armor who with his good arm hits Climate with an uppercut.

Surge then charged an energy beam beam from her hands and it hits Climate with the beam, he stumbles back and he sees Genarocker with a mechanical right giving him a right hook. Climate gets knock down, right when he tries to get back the aether aura around him fade away and Climate is knocked out.

"We won?" Armor asked.

The L-Crew slowly approached the down Climate while keeping their guards up. Black Ice forms a long ice staff and proceeds to poke Climate. After a few pokes, Climate doesn't react.

"I think he's out." Black Ice said.

"Guys, we won." Speed Queen said. "C'mon let's get him ready for the cops."

Within ten minutes Haggar arrived to pick up Climate to take him back to the Dungeon.

"You know, it's funny." Haggar said. "Nobody in the Dungeon knew he got out until they saw the report of the battle on the news. Hell I didn't know till recently. How did he get out in the first place?" Prodigy opened her mouth to confess but Speed Queen cut her off.

"No clue." Speed Queen said. "Probably snuck out when nobody was looking."

"Well I'll call Brock and we'll see if we can try to improve the security there."

"You do that chief." Amplifier said as Haggar nodded and walked away.

"Wait didn't you let me explain about how I was responsible for Climate's escape?" Prodigy asked.

Speed Queen looked down at her and got down on a knee. "Because it was an accident." She said. "Did you screw up? Yes. Did you mean to let out one of the most dangerous criminals in the Dungeon? No. What matters is that no innocent people got hurt and you don't deserve to be ridiculed for something that was an accident. But why did you really make the teleporter?" Prodigy sighs.

"I had notes on time travel." Prodigy said. "I was very close to making a breakthrough in it. However I lost them in the explosion that gave us our powers setting me back. While trying to recreate my data, Mr. Cuddles suggested that I create a teleporter and that perhaps we could teleport something to a different time period."

"You were trying to figure out how to get Ryker home." Speed Queen realized.

"Yes." Prodigy replied. "We told Surge that we were gonna use it teleport stuff to and from the base. That was only the partial truth because we weren't fully convinced it'd work."

At the base, Soothsayer looked at Mr. Cuddles who hung his head in shame.

"So that is why." Soothsayer said.

"We weren't completely sure if it would work." Mr. Cuddles said. "I was more surprised that she took the suggestion than anything. But it's difficult and we didn't expect that it would release Climate. It was stupid."

"But you had to try my friend." Soothsayer said.

"I'm so ashamed in my actions." Prodigy said. "I do apologize my dear teammates."

"It's alright Prodigy. Besides we took care of Climate, and threw his ass back in the Dungeon." said Parkour.

"Not to mention preventing Royal Woods to be destroyed." Genarocker said.

"And saved your old man." Amplifier said as she put her arm around Genarocker. "That still feels weird dudes."

"Yeah you're not alone with that." Firecracker said. "I mean I don't think Replicate will like that we saved his butt before he knew he was in danger."

"He never likes anything." Black Ice said. "But at least we prevented his death."

"Fair enough." Speed Queen said. "Let's get out of here." The L-Crew then start to walk off. But unknown to them, a woman was watching from the shadows.

"Louds are spotted." She said on her comms. "Continue to observe?"

"Yes." The voice said. "Stay out of sight for now."

"Yes Colonel Mavor." She said before going back into the shadows.

In the prison transport, Climate sat hunched over staring at his hands. His body hurt but he to admit he kinda enjoyed the fight. He then sensed he was no longer alone.

"What do you want Tom?" Climate growled without looking up.

"To talk." Replicate responded. Climate looked up and to his surprise, Replicate was standing in front of him.

"How?" Climate asked. "How are you here?"

"I'm not. I'm an illusion created by my associate." Replicate said. "But we need to talk."

"What's there to talk Tom." Climate replied. "That brat Prodigy teleported next out of the Dungeon and I want to use my freedom to kill you."

"I know that." Replicate said. "I was watching the whole time. But that's not what I wanted to talk about. I came here to talk about what happened nine years ago."

"You mean that mission that drove us apart?" Climate asked. "What about it?"

"It shouldn't have gone wrong." Replicate said.

"But it did." Climate said quickly.

"How?" Replicate asked. "How did it go wrong?" Climate opens his mouth to answer but realized that he didn't have one.

"I don't know." Climate admitted. "On paper it worked out so flawlessly. When we did it everything was going perfect then poof it all went to hell. Which made no sense. How did it all go wrong?" Replicate thinks about it and sighs.

"I think we were set up." Replicate said. "Or someone screwed us. Either way I don't think it was our fault."

"What are you saying? That the mission was a set up?" Climate asked.

"Yes, and I'm going to find the truth." said Replicate.

"I doubt it'll convince the others about your theory." said Climate.

"You don't have too." Replicate said. "Because I'll prove it to be true." He prepared to have Alice cancel the illusion but Climate stops him.

"You know, I can see why you enjoy fighting those kids." Climate said before smirking. "It's a hell of a rush." Replicate smirks and the illusion fades leaving Climate alone once again.

Later that evening, Soothsayer sat in his chambers meditating. When he opened his eyes he found that he was in a jungle once more. He looked up and saw Monkey lying on a tree.

"You know, I'm starting to think you just like visiting me." Monkey said.

"You know why I'm here Monkey." Soothsayer said. "She did it a third time."

"A third time?" Monkey asked.

"Yes, I advise her to only use that form as a last resort." Soothsayer said.

"Wasn't expecting the third time to come so soon." Monkey said as he scratches himself. "The fact that she's even able to do it a third time astounds me. Komu wasn't expecting this much progress." Soothsayer tilted his head in confusion.

"What do you mean?" Soothsayer asked. "Explain Monkey."

"Ok. Lana technically still hasn't fully finished her training." Monkey admitted. "And no it's not the whole 'there's always more training to be needed' thing. She is literally not finished. Komu never finished. He only taught her better control over her animal forms."

"Then she must return to finish!" Soothsayer argued. Monkey however waved him off.

"Oh yeah she will." Monkey said. "But not yet. She has to do one more thing before she can finish."

"Which is?" Soothsayer prompted.

"Fight Xander again." Monkey said.

"Fight Xander again?" Soothsayer questioned. "But she could be killed by Xander. He unless the Louds assist her."

"She can't get help from her other siblings. Lana needs to do this on her own. No exceptions." Monkey said.

"If you insist. Then the fight with Xander will be Lana's final test." Soothsayer said.

"But like I said, she must fight him alone." Monkey said. "Unlike her other siblings Lana has yet to defeat her nemesis. Even though not all of her siblings have nemesises, they have all defeated a foe that proved to be a difficult challenge for them. One could argue that Mr. Cuddles was a challenge for Lily. But to fully complete her training, Lana must defeat Xander, a task she has failed to do."

"A very difficult task indeed." Soothsayer said. "However I will not tell her this. If I do, she might try to go after Xander herself which could end with disastrous results."

"I agree. She needs to do learn and do this on her own and only her." Monkey said. "When she defeats Xander, her training will be complete."

"And then she will come here for her final lesson?" Soothsayer asked.

"Yes. She has one more lesson to learn but she cannot learn it until she defeats Xander which has been proven to be a difficult task." Monkey said.

"What is that lesson?" Soothsayer asked.

"We both know what that lesson is Soothsayer." Monkey said. "But it won't matter if she doesn't defeat Xander."

"Very well." Soothsayer said. "I hope Lana will be ready."

Mercer pulled up in front of an old music hall. He pulled out his folder looked inside and closed it. "This is the place." Mercer said.

Mercer walked towards the music hall and as he enters the old music hall he begins to hear music, it was classic music. The music grew louder and louder as he drew closer. Mercer entered the auditorium and see a man wearing a cloak playing the organ.

"Excuse me sir!" Mercer called out and the music stops.

"Did you like my music?" The man asked.

"Oh very much." Mercer said. "I do enjoy classical music. But is your name Freddy Bohemian aka the Conductor?" The man does a dramatic turn and Mercer sees that he's wearing a mask on half his face.

"Indeed I am." Conductor said. "Do you require my services?"

"Yes Tetherby requires your service to take down the L-Crew." Mercer replied.

"Very well. I will give those brats one last show for their farewell tour." Conductor said.

"Do you require anything?" Mercer asked.

"Yes." The Conductor replied. "I require some assistance from the Dungeon."

Smoke: Hey guys. I hope you enjoyed the new chapter of Loud heroes. It's been awhile since we had Climate battled against the L-Crew. So we figured why not do a chapter with him. But in sad news if you haven't heard Fred Willard, who voiced Albert/Pop Pop in the Loud House pasted away about two weeks ago. He died in his sleep and he will be missed. Got anything to say Zach.

Zachlor16: Yeah. First off RIP Fred Willard. You will be missed. Secondly I know you all probably thought that the L-Crew would be battling a new villain in this chapter. We technically never said that. Mercer was literally just told to go find him. Anyways you're probably wondering what's going on with Lana and this training. Well you'll have to wait and find out. All will be revealed in time. Plus a big future fight between Lana and Xander. That's something to look forward too. Anyways see you guys next time and stay safe out there.
