The halls of the lamias' ancient city were captivating in a way in which only the best ruins were. Even with the constant intrusion of kichikandi trying to steal her focus, Josie just couldn't stop marvelling at it all. It was old, unusual, and filled with little details so easy to miss at first glance but which spoke of so much more.
Letting out a sigh, she ran a hand over a railing and relished how smooth and perfectly crafted it was. The entire city had been constructed within the mountain using what seemed to be almost exclusively subtractive architecture. They blocked out large chunks of stone with magic, removing the majority of volume via supernatural means, but all of the fine details were completed by hand.
