Birth Of a God

A storm raged above Krakoa and it seemed erratic almost unnatural.

A scream of pain could be heard from the hospital in Krakoa, Xmen surrounded a certain room where the screen came from but they all looked nervous except Wolverine who was in the corner of the hallway drinking a beer.

Inside the room was Storm giving both to a baby boy with the help of the beast.

"Come in Storm push a bit more he is almost there"

She shot her head up and glared at the beast as her eyes glowed.

She screamed again in pain as she dropped her head back on the pillow, Beast shook his surprise and focused on the task at hand.

Outside of the room, Jean was shown pacing around as she then walked to Xavier and questioned him.

"Where is HE professor, he should be here with us"

"I don't know Jean" He replied but it seemed he was in deep thought.

"Professor focus please, this is important in many ways such as our friend is in that room giving birth and the HE is not here!"

Before anyone could think of a response she continued and small objects started to float from the ground.

"So is he doesn't want to even show up he shouldn't have had sex with Storm without protection-"

The room opened catching everyone's attention and Beast walked out wearing aprons and gloves covered in blood but he was carrying the baby and walked over to a nearby cot near all the group and put him down, Xavier moved towards Beast with an expression that told he had some questions.

"How is she and the baby?"

Beast sighed as he answered.

"Storm is in bad shape, she has lost a lot of blood and is drained of all her energy it was like the baby was drawing the energy from her as she was giving birth but other than that the baby is fine but.."

He hesitates to continue as he gets a worried expression on his face.

"But what Beast? What did you want to tell me?"

"Professor have you noticed outside with the storm."

"Of course, Miss Storm is causing the storm because of the stress her body has been going through"

"That is what was happening before but now Storm is knocked out she can't be causing this anymore."

Everyone went silent trying to figure out why it prevailed still until Xavier's eyes widened and he quickly sent a psychic message to Jean and Emma which caused the to also be shocked.

"It can't be Professor"

Xavier looked at Beast and motioned him to continue.

"So the only person who has any power at all over the weather like Storm is her son, meaning the only other person who can't do this would be him."

Everyone connected the dots and gained the same expression as Jean.

Xavier questioned Beast suspiciously.

"Are you saying what I think you're saying?"

"Yes, the boy is causing the storm"

Sounds of rumble from outside was Gerard with flashes of light and the pitter-patter of heavy rain that came in like raging waves.

*comms* Xavier, please respond it's urgent there is an object shaped like a human coming to the island at match speeds.

Xavier put his hand to his earpiece and tired away from everyone and responded in a hushed tone.

"What? Send the interception team to apprehend the intruder before he enters Krakoa"

*Comms* I already sent them not they have home offline and I can't get any communications between them and me they are suspected to either be unconscious or.....deceased.

"Damn ok thanks for the info"

Xavier turned back around but noticed that Laura, Logan, Beast and other Xmen with enhanced senses seem to be angry and in Logan and Laura's case, other claws are out.

"Logan, Laura don't-"

"I am going out there to destroy whatever that is!"

"Restrain them both now!"

Everyone seemed confused at his outburst and tries to restrain Logan and Laura from leaving but as the struggle went on a baby's cry could be heard as the storm got even more ferocious as cars and anything not nailed down were being either thrown around or pushed harshly.

No one moved towards the baby to calm him down except Rogue, she heard the cry and walked over there and looked over him and she tried calming him down but tried to not touch him.

"Ahh please baby shhh"

She was waving her hands in front of him in a panic but as she gradually got more frantic in her hand movements he stopped crying, Rogue exhaled and rested her elbows on the cot but soon after he started to giggle and smile a storm.

"You're a cute baby aren't you little pudding" she said as she waved her fingers in front of him to make him laugh more.

As she waves her fingers she didn't notice him reach out and grab her finger, she froze immediately in fear.

'Please no no no, I don't want to hurt a baby please!'

Her eyes looked down to see his condition

but was flabbergasted when he seemed perfectly fine and even pulled her hand forward with considerable strength, he yawned a quiet yawn and hugged her hand close to him.

'W-wait my powers don't affect him'

She immediately smiled hugely and revelled in the moment of touch.

*Comms* Sir! The intruder is on the island and they are heading towards you!

The buildings creaked from the bombardment of rain and wind but a very loud slam was heard outside the large doors leading outside.

Even if the sound of the storm was incredibly loud everyone felt as if that all fizzled into the background as everyone's eyes were at the doors.

"Everyone get ready"

Everyone followed Xavier's advice, for example, Cyclops put his hand on his goggles, Nightcrawler lowered into an animalistic stance, and Jean's hair raised as her eyes glowed a slight burning orange.

Rogue slid her hand out of his grasp and stood in front of the cot defensively.

Time ticked past at a snail's pace all attention was on the door and the unknown that was lurking behind it.

The sound of heavy footsteps was heard approaching them until they stopped at the door and the doors opened revealing a male figure.

(This is the look)

Everyone recognised him as Thor as he placed his hammer Mjølnir down, Jean sped walked to the and slapped him across the face and even though he was unfazed Jean looked satisfied.

"Why weren't you here earlier!" she yelled

"I was in the middle of researching a certain thing woman" Thor's gruff voice blankly stated.

Another cry from the baby was heard because of the missing comfort of Rogue's hand accompanied by a large crack of lighting heard outside, Thor looked towards the cot with the baby and began to walk to it but was stopped after a few feet by Rogue.

"I don't know what you're up to sugar but I am not letting you anywhere near that baby boy, you hear me" Rogues Southern's accent was strongly heard within her voice as she finished she almost revved the cosmic power she stole from Captain Marvel.

Her and Thor's eyes met and a standoff started as they would not look away and not blink, the tension was palpable but out of nowhere kitty appeared between them and tried breaking them up.

"Come on guys if you're going to fight do it somewhere else where the baby can't get hurt"

"He is my child and I am allowed to do whatever I want with him, so I suggest you follow your friend's advice and stand down"

"And what will you do if I don't?" Rogue questioned Thor

Thor's eyebrows raised at her challenge against him.

"Why don't you test it but I warn everyone that has don't come back fully in pieces."

"I just said if your going to be children don't do it in front of the literal child!"

Kitty shouted out in anger and started to heave out in exhaustion.

The X-MEN who knew Kitty were surprised to hear this level of anger from her and were floored, Xavier spoke up and tried defusing the situation.

"Everyone calm down I am sure we can sort this out peacefully, so Rogue let him see HIS child and then let's move from there"

Thor didn't wait and continued his walk to the crib behind Rogue and picked him up and looked at his child who looked like Storm with her skin tone and hair but it was a shade lighter, he had no unnecessary baby fat and his weight and height showed him to have a physical body that has great potential that can be moulded into something incredible.

As the baby opened his eyes it revealed his bright lightning blue eyes that shone with power hidden in him, Thor narrowed his eyes and spoke.

"He fits the description..."

"What description of Thor, if you mind me asking?"

He put the baby boy in front of him and in a regal voice declared.

"Firstborn of the Mighty Thor, Child of a Goddess of lightning I award you the name Raiden, the name Raiden Thorson originates from a fellow God that controls the storm in ways that rivalled me before he disappeared in battle never to be seen again"

A gasp was heard as everyone turned towers the room with Storm and noticed her leaning on the door frame.

"He will be named something that includes me you bastard" she squeezed out before starting to collapse to the floor but Nightcrawler teleported to catch her  leaving a cloud of brimstone before she hit the floor and laid her on the floor gently

"I believe it best to name him with her last name as well" Cyclops spoke towards Thor.

"You listen to what she says or you will suffer the consequences of fighting us all but don't worry all you have to worry about is me" Wolverine pipes up and threatens him while shaking off the hands that didn't let go with him.

Thor looked around then at Storm then at Raiden but instead of moving his gaze kept at him, not looking away at all.

Thor put his hand out and opened his plan calling Mjølnir to his hand and then jumped through the roof and started to fly in the storm when in the eye he thrusted his hammer up and released a wave of wind disrupting the storm and destroying it.

As the sky was clear sunlight shone through the hole in the roof blinding everyone but then Thor lowered through it and spoke.

"I Thor Odinson, King of Asgard, Protector of Midgard and wielder of the Odin force formerly introduce my first born child Raiden Munroe Thorson."

He paused then said another name.

"Heimdall"

Xavier's eyes widened as he shouted for everyone to get away from him.

A multi-coloured beam called the Bifrost suddenly covered Thor transporting him to Asgard, as everything calmed down burn mark of the Bifrost was left on the ground.

Rogue got up quickly brushing off a dizzy Gambit that fell on her causing him to hit the floor hard.

"Ow" Gambit groaned out.

Rogue rushed to Raiden's side and checked if he was okay and breathed a sigh when she found him only to see he had been burned by the Bifrost leaving a slight pattern of the Bifrost that quickly healed to look like a tattoo.

"What does this mean for your future….Raiden"
