Awakening

My name is Light Lioween. I was born into a world of magic. My family never had a history of having powerful mages or being the go-to on the subject of magic, but that all changed in one day.

Light Lioween's Vision:

My father, was always considered a very weak person because of his illness, not only he, my mother too, but even though they were quite weak they were considered a very firm hearted person.

When I was 11 years old I went to a laboratory as the school was selected to visit.

I was really excited because it was my first time going to a place like this. It was a feeling of joy and happiness.

After waiting a long time, we finally got permission to enter the "Beta" at the time I thought that name was very beautiful, today it seems that they just lacked creativity. Ironic, right?

"Well, students today we will have a visit to a laboratory, as a gift for the 100 years that the school was founded. Everyone behave!" my teacher said.

"Here we are in the 1st section. The construction section, here a prosthesis is used to help those who can't use magic, so with that, it starts to get easier to use spells. Just remembering that they are only for basic spells".

Seeing this, the prosthesis my father uses came to my mind. His was a little different from the ones the scientists were testing, my dad's gives off mist, theirs gives off fire and water. Maybe my father's is just old. So I started looking around

I looked around and realized that there were cameras everywhere, not just cameras but guards, scientists and probably more that I didn't notice with my eyes, I noticed all this except someone with the same prosthesis as him.

As time passed, we reached the second section after walking a lot.

"Here is the power crystal. It improves the skills of the one who uses it! Only high-level mages can use it" she continued.

I couldn't see straight, but the color was a blue and a green, I've never seen that green. Is it from some experiment?

"I think there could be an exception for Light, since he's too weak, hahahahah" I almost punched him for that, but I didn't want to cause a fight, so I just ignored it.

As time passed, my body felt stronger. As if it was nothing, but after a while a reality shock comes and makes me pass out again.

"He's fine" I listened

"It seems, that someone who..." I couldn't hear everything, because soon after I passed out again.

When I woke up I was in a hospital, my mother was by my side.

When she heard what had happened she ran out of the house and came straight to where I was.

"Dear, Dear... Are you okay? Please don't go now. Please my God" she said.

"I'm here, no need to thank me" I said with a smile

Even though I can't see emotions through her eyes, I could tell her eyes were thanking her with relief.

"Never do that again" she said it almost drying her eyes from crying so much

"Right, right. I'm sorry"

After some time that my mother was beside me, she speaks

"I'm going to drink some water. I'll be right back" I replied with "okay"

After she left, I didn't feel any more pain, I just felt my body brimming with power. Maybe that's why I survived the fall?

Maybe, they were looking to take someone down, so the bridge was closer to the ground, no, maybe they had a defined focus, not everyone else. My head kept having doubts, the more time passed, the more doubts I had.

After a while, the doctor arrived together with my mother, they probably thought I was sleeping, because they didn't even care if I would listen or not, but something caught my attention, I could hear something they were saying even though they were far away from my bed.

After some time trying to listen to them, I noticed that my feet were tingling, when I looked I felt something around.
