chapter 13:
A sudden clearing of the throat caused both of us to turn around. Leaning against the door was the man who had saved me, dressed in black sweatpants that hung low on his waist. Oh my god, he was shirtless. I quickly averted my gaze, turning as red as a tomato.
"Omar, my dear. You know we have guests, where is your shirt?" scolded the woman.
I turned around, finally taking a good look at her for the first time. She was incredibly beautiful. Just by looking at her, you could tell she was his mother. She had her son's eyes, a delicate nose, fair and smooth skin that glowed in the morning light. Her lips were a deep red, and her face was round and matched her almost perfect looks. She appeared so vibrant, so fresh, too young to be a mother of a grown man. She was truly stunning, like an angel that had fallen from heaven. I saw her looking at me, her lips moving as if she were speaking to me.
